Inappropriate?Hello Jeanne,
I apologize for the inconveniences.
Vista and XP for some reason sometimes doesn't register VBScript. What you have to do is first of all find where vbscript.dll is. Is is usually found in C:\Windows\System32 (C:\Windows\syswow64 for Vista 64).Next you need to go to start -> all programs -> accessories and right click on command prompt and choose "run as administrator". If you are using XP than all you need to do is left click on the command prompt to access it.
Next type "cd C:\Windows\System32" (replace the dir if its different for you) and then type "regsvr32 vbscript.dll". It should then confirm that vbscript has been registered and everything should work. This should resolve the issue.
You should now be able to download the Vipre software. I apologize once again for the inconveniences.
If you have more questions or need further assistance please feel free to contact me.
Thank You,
Sean Donnelly
