Why do scheduled scans get skipped?
Two weeks ago I asked about scheduled scans no operating and executing properly. The customer service rep. suggested that VIPRE be removed and reinstalled. I did this and the problem seemed to be resolved. Then today VIPRE skips the quick scan that was scheduled.
What's the next step? Shouldn't the scans that are scheduled execute properly?

Inappropriate?Thank you for posting! I am sorry to hear about the problem with Vipre scanning. Please make sure that the computer is not in hibernation mode when the scan is scheduled to take place. Hibernation is different then sleep mode and the computer can not wake itself. There is also a setting to make up missed scans with a quick scan so that if the program does happen to miss a scan it will automatically make up the scan. Also please make sure that your power setting is set to wake up the computer upon scheduled scans under the power tab. The settings console for the program are located under File>Settings. If the problem persists please email us here at Support@SunbeltSofware.com with a brief description of the problem so that we may gather more information from your installation of Vipre.
