Why would Counterspy stop dead in the middle of a scan?
Counterspy detects two instances of WinReanimator - Rogue Security program in my computer but stops dead in the middle of the scan, Hence I can NOT remove this virus from my computer.
I have already downloaded and installed the latest version of counterspy (Version 829) - Please help!

Thanks for posting. It would be best to run a scan with CounterSpy in Windows Safe mode for a High level threat like WinReanimator.
Restart your computer, then tap the F8 key on the keyboard after it first starts up (ex. If you have a Dell it will flesh Dell on the screen, then start tapping F8). When the menu appears, use the arrow keys to select safe mode and press enter twice. If you are prompted to select a user, select your username.
Now, run a scan with CounterSpy.
