Windows Installer says disc needed to continue counterspy update
Counterspy downloaded the new version; 3.1.2416, yesterday. A windows installer appeared and began to state I needed a disc to continue. After this cycle continued; I attempted to uninstall Counterspy to do a new install. At add/remove programs I clicked change (on XP by the way) and the windows installer appeared again; and would do nothing more than say I needed to insert a disc. I tried other removals as posted on this forum; such as deleting folders in the program files. I cannot remove Counterspy and when I reboot the windows installer appears yet again. My goal is to remove Counterspy and reinstall cleanly; but the installer does not work. any ideas??? thanks.

Inappropriate?Hello Jt, I am sorry your having trouble with getting Counterspy installed.
Please try and run this cleaner for Counterspy, which should let you remove any part of the installation that is causing this problem.

Inappropriate?Hey JT,
It appears that the link above to the cleaner got cutoff. You can use this link below which will give you the same uninstall utility.
