Vipre can't get rid of Trojan-Downloader.Zlob.Media-Codec
file c:\program files\applications\iebt.dll (applications directory does not exist)
tried running Vipre in safe mode (including Vipre Rescue Scanner) and it said it quarantined the trojan downloader, but it is not in the quarantine and the threat reappears next scan.

Inappropriate?Hello Gary,
I apologize for the inconveniences.
I would like to get some diagnostic logs from your installation of VIPRE.
1. First open VIPRE by double clicking on the Counterspy icon in the System tray (Down by the time on your computer)
2. Click on the word “Help” then “About”
3. Then click on the button labeled “Support tools” then “Run Diagnostics”
4. Make sure that all the boxes are checked and click “ok”
5. Once this starts, it will take a couple minutes while the utility gathers information. It will create a file on your desktop called “Sunbelt VIPRE Antivirus + Antispyware Diagnostics.rar”
6. After that file appears, run the following utility: http://www.sunbelt-software.com/suppo...
This will be escalated and we will get in contact you once a upper tier is able to look over the logs. I apologize once again.
Please attach this file to an email and send it to support@sunbeltsoftware.com
Thank You

Inappropriate?Hello Gary,
Now, please go to the following site and follow the instructions for obtaining a HijackThis log for us. Please attach this log to your email as well.
http://www.whatthetech.com/hijackthis/
Once you have submitted this information to us, our research department will then look at it to assess how to remove this/these malware threats.
Because researching how to remove a malware threat or variant of an existing one takes time, it may be a couple of days before we are able return to you with a solution. During this period of time, we recommend that you maintain the most recent threat definitions and continue to run scans. It is possible that between the time you submit this issue to us and the time we have a solution for you, this malware threat may have been corrected in our threat database which will then be able to be removed with another Vipre/Counterspy scan.
Thank You
Sean Donnelly
