I recently bought a new Airport Extreme Base Station (Gigabit, 802.11n) and replaced my older (c.2005) Airport Express with it as my main network router. Now I want to use the older Express as a WDS remote to extend the network.
I've got everything configured properly through the setup wizard and all is well for several hours after setup-- I'm able to connect wirelessly to the network and connect to the internet. Both the Base station and the remote show Green status lights. All is well.
Then, 4-5 hours later, although the status lights are still green and I can connect to the network wirelessly, my internet connection is lost. And 'Internet Connect' only shows me connected to the Express (MAC address)... and Airport Utility only displays the Express, not the Extreme..
Separately, using either unit as a base station with no remote, I have no problems, everything works flawlessly.
There's a pretty lengthy discussion about this issue on the Apple Support forums (here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.j...) with no resolution-- apart from the hope that Apple will release a new Express revision that may address the problem.
Please don't tell me, Apple, that the solution to this issue is for me to spend more money. Please.

I just got a new white MacBook 2.4ghz 2gb. It is fast, except when deleting files from the desktop and moving icons around in the Finder.
Is this normal? It takes about 5 seconds to send a file from the desktop do the trash.
But software opens really fast...

When I post from the Mail.app on my Mac, sometimes there are extra spaces between words.

I bought a new hard drive to install to my G5, that went well, but the problem came when i'm trying to boot up the computer and inserting the installation CD, I tried to go over the steps like holding down the mouse then press start wait till tray slides out, or press and hold the c key. and nothing works! wondering what is the problem do i need another trip down the apple store or is it something i can solve?

iTunes refuses to let me purchase music from the iTunes store. When I attempt to buy a song, I keep getting taken to an account information screen after I've put in my password. The iTunes account page says my information has 'changed' but everything looks correct when I look it over. Add there is no prompt as to WHAT changed. WTF?

The account has worked previously. I had not changed payment method prior to this problem, but changing payment method as a response to the problem accomplishes nothing. It doesn't work whether I'm paying through PayPal, or paying directly. Bloody annoying. Add that there is no link I can click to get some sort of interactive customer support, either. I don't want to skim through 400+ forum posts. I want to buy some music.

Using Paltalk Express, I can only hear group sounds. I've tried 3 browsers (Safari, Firefox, and Navigator). I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox and Flash, as well as trashing various preference files, changing Java and Midi preferences, and removing audio software that might be causing conflict.

I'm running 10.5.2 Leopard on a 2 Ghz Intel MacBook

About 50% of the time, my MacBook doesn't detect an external display. I put it to sleep when leaving the office, possibly use it at home that evening, and the next morning when I return to my desk and connect it to a monitor, it doesn't detect. The "detect displays" command it of no help and a reboot is the only solution I've found.

Mac OS X text navigation doesn't work in the reply box. For example I cannot do:

Command [+ Shift] + Right Arrow
Command [+ Shift] + Left Arrow
Option [+ Shift] + Right Arrow
Option [+ Shift] + Left Arrow

I am forced to use the Windows text navigation shortcuts, which are foreign to most Mac users:

Control [+ Shift] + Home
Control [+ Shift] + End
