When my iPhoto uploader wasn't working, I turned to the standard browser uploader. I was surprised to find that the java uploader was also experiencing serious ongoing issues that appear be persistent for weeks. This leaves mac users pretty much in the toilet when it comes to uploading photos.

The issue is that many photos fail to be recognized as in the uploader as thumbnails. They render as blank boxes. They actually take the normal time to upload, but still remain blank boxes once uploaded!

I tried moving the photos, renaming the photos. The java uploader was able to consistently recognize the photos as blanks. They are all standard jpgs shot by a canon elph or an iphone.

I get a server error every time I vote against Jackie Brown...as a result it's stuck at No. 3 in my chart. I love it, but not that much.

On page 30 of chapter 3, the reader is asked to run the command "mvn install". Later, in the first sentence of page 35, the reader is informed that "The second command we rean in the previous section was mvn package."

When trying to use Remedy 7 Web client in it, I get the following error:

Webbalert videos can no longer resume play, or be scrubbed on iphones. They go a little crazy, and then begin back at the opening sequence. This is driving us crazy. Please fix the videos so they can be resumed after pausing in the iphone. Please ensure the videos can scrubber bar performs without resetting the video at the beginning. Thanks!

linux client: built-in NFS server fails with "cannot create file: unknown error 526" when copying a file with 2097197226 bytes to ~/wuala/...

Client version: v119, quota 3GB, fstab entry:

Double-clicking at the exact same file on the windows (GUI) client I get "The file has not been completely uploaded. Please try again later or contact its owner".

So it's maybe just an issue with user interaction / timeout: the file is requested to be uploaded but that just takes a while, and the OS tries to tell the user that it hasn't arrived yet. Is that the correct interpretation? Could that be fixed / clarified? I took the fstab entry from your FAQ, so don't blame me for the timeout value :-)

My miniature jpg (the "_mini.jpg") profile picture won't show on other people's profiles after I changed it. In fact, the new picture is still pointing to the web address of the old one at Amazon S3. Its upload size is only 15KB
The "_normal.jpg" picture is working fine though.

I tried deleting it and uploading the new one several times with the same name and dimensions as the old one - and this quick fix partially worked, now it's showing on some profiles but not on others. Looks like it went from a bug status to a glitch :)

We have gotten a few reports about 502 Errors being returned after a user submits a form. So far this has shown up after submitting the Add Game form and the Send Invite form. This has been verified by the developers, but so far we have no clear explanation.

Okay, so I have created a Facebook account, and I think I have tried absolutely everything. It's pretty simple what has happened to me. I created an account successfully, but now I can't seem to log in. When I try the first time, it tells me that I need to log in to view the page and gives me a box to type in my password. Then, on every successive attempted login, it tells me the password and email don't match up, even though I know that it does. I have checked caps lock.

I am pretty sure that I have tried everything (I am pretty computer-savvy if I do say so myself), but I may be missing something. I have tried deleting the cookies on my computer, enabling cookies, checking the firewall, restarting the computer, and deleting unused programs. I have searched the web and have not found anyone who has my problem. It seems very unique.

I am running Firefox 2.0.0.14 on Windows XP SP1. I have also tried on IE (I can't remember the version and I don't feel like opening it up). Of course, my firends are irked at me because they keep sending me friend requests and I am not accepting. It is also flooding my inbox, and I can't turn it off because I can't log in!

When pressing the 'Conversation' link underneath a video the other videos from the thread are not dispalyed. This also happens when clicking the 'Replies' text in a video thumb.
I'm using Safari, the latest version (3.1.1.).

when I try to upload a file into a shared folder I get this error message: "Transaktion153 fehlgeschlagen. ... Element is not in cache, [some numbers]". The folder is set on "shared with all and future friends". Uploading the same file into a privat or public folder and then copy it into the shared folder works fine.
I'm running Build 426 on WinXP SP2.
