Check Off 4.0: What Do You Want? in Second Gear. Last reply on July 06, 2008 20:27.

    Hey everyone,

I'm getting closer moving full steam ahead on getting a 4.0 version of Check Off built for everyone to enjoy. The original Check Off codebase was built in the 10.2/Jaguar days, so I'm using this opportunity to wipe the slate clean and start from scratch.

What I'd like to know is the following:

    1. What you really like about Check Off 3
    2. What you really dislike about Check Off 3
    3. What could I add to Check Off 4 that would make it your preferred quick todo list?

    Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Feedback on the new ScrnShots Desktop Client in Orange Peel Media. Last reply on July 05, 2008 18:42.

Love the app so far... here are a few ideas. Perhaps if the new ScrnShots Desktop emulated a few other capture tools, us screenshot junkies would even need the others...

Specifically, in Skitch you can click on the title bar of any window or desktop and it grabs the whole thing - really quick and easy. With Paparazzi, you enter a URL and give it size parameters and pow - PNG. Both of these features would greatly add to the ScrnShots Desktop yumminess.

Access list problems in Eloise Pasteur Educational Designs.

I have had reports that the access list may not be working as intended. If any of you have seen this problem, please let me know!

Ideally I'd like to know what you did to set the list up and what your approved users did and what the messages were - I've checked the code and it seems to be working to me.

What Target Gets Right in Target.

This doesn't always have to be about problems or concerns you have with Target. If you were "wowed" by someone at your recent visit to a Target store, share that with the corporation as positive feedback, and let them know what they're doing RIGHT, as well as where they could improve.

Integrate Get Satisfaction and Gather Reader Input in Sonatype. Last reply on June 29, 2008 21:15.

Add integration with a service like Get Satisfaction that will allow readers to post ideas, ask questions, and identify problems with the book. A book is much more than a set of static words, it can serve as the meeting place for a community. A book is also very much "alive" in the sense that it has to react to what the readers need. Since this book is never going to be "finished" in the sense of a traditional book, why not integrate Get Satisfaction to provide a forum for reader?

Alpha Test participants should let us know about their experiences with CRASHBOMB here. We are curious about any feedback you have. We have built CRASHBOMB because, as gamers, we need it. But we also know that we can't make it great without a lot of tuning and tweaking. So let us know what is working, what isn't and what you'd like to see on CRASHBOMB.

Place friends into categories. in Socialthing!. Last reply on June 27, 2008 14:47.

I'd love to see categories for my friends, i.e. co-workers, family, etc. Similar to the way IM lets you distinguish different people. That way when I'm at work, I can see what my co-workers are up to and ignore them during the weekend.

iPhone dynamic URL - multiple ST's open in Socialthing!. Last reply on June 26, 2008 19:38.

In v.1 your iPhone URL was the same start point. Therefore when I clicked on my iPhone Homepage badge it launched SocialThing in safari. If SocialThing was open (which it almost always is) it would simply refresh that Safari Page. Now it launches a "new window" and eventually I end up with 5 or 6 SocialThing instances.

Just a suggestion on most likely unintended side effect of loading a dynamic type url in the iPhone.

    Thanks,
    Kurt
