copy protection in PBwiki. Last reply on July 04, 2008 07:52.

Is it possible to protect the text and images on my page for someone, who wants to copy it?

Its really important that primarily no one can copy my images, because there are not mine and i have to protect them...

Removal of image and email addresses in Spock.

I can't remove a few things such as my last remaining picture and the email addresses i have. Even though the email addresses are not shown, i still want to remove them from your system. Also, even though i have changed the votes on a lot of information on my page to no and reported them all, the information remains. If there is a delay that does occur, you should mention it in the help section on your site.

Can the ".jpg" extension be added to picture links? It would help the images load automatically in site like Plurk.

Why doesn't my image show when url is long? in Pownce. Last reply on June 23, 2008 06:52.

why doesn't my image show when the url for the image is long? A good example is this one: http://bp3.blogger.com/_AKPj0uXl7Tc/R.... I get a link for it, but the image doesn't show up in the entry. Maybe its because you want to encourage linking to the actual site? But I like to link to the site in the text and show an image to draw people in. Just a small annoyance in an otherwise awesome site. Thanks for all the great work!

Background Image Display Issue in Firefox 3 in Crusher. Last reply on June 22, 2008 22:02.

Hey guys, just reported this as a bug, but wanted to post it here as well. I found a bug related to the new Firefox 3 browser. Any custom background image appearing on Crusher Pages disappears on page load, it's really quite strange. Sometimes it displays right away, then immediately disappears, other times it doesn't appear at all. I've tried reloading the custom background image and re-saving the invite and it'll stay in view until I go out of that page and come back in. It's like it's hiding the custom image behind the background color or something. Again, I've only had this issue with FF3, IE is fine and never had any issues with FF2. Just wanted to mention it to you guys since a lot of people will be upgrading their browser over the next few weeks. Thanks.

Here's a sample invite you can check: http://crush3r.com/page/skdehhfiby

My new profile picture isn't showing on other people's profiles after changing the old one. in Twitter.

My miniature jpg (the "_mini.jpg") profile picture won't show on other people's profiles after I changed it. In fact, the new picture is still pointing to the web address of the old one at Amazon S3. Its upload size is only 15KB
The "_normal.jpg" picture is working fine though.

I tried deleting it and uploading the new one several times with the same name and dimensions as the old one - and this quick fix partially worked, now it's showing on some profiles but not on others. Looks like it went from a bug status to a glitch :)

Image Dimensions Text in Get Satisfaction. Last reply on June 11, 2008 23:52.

It might be worth adding some text next to the image upload fields specifying the maximum (or recommended) dimensions for uploaded images.

This would save people time adjusting their images to "look right".

Auto-posting links with images to Tumblr isn't working quite right in Mento. Last reply on May 29, 2008 13:26.

Autoposting to Tumblr doesn't work quite right.

    This link:
    http://www.mento.info/nathan/links/6646/
has an image attached. When autoposted to Tumblr, only the image (not the link) appears.
    http://nbr.tumblr.com/post/34383085

    However, this link
    http://www.mento.info/nathan/links/6649
which has no image attached, posts fine.
    http://nbr.tumblr.com/post/34385404

Seems to me that Mento links should be posted as links (i.e., the post-type on Tumblr should be "link with description"); the image, if it's going to be included at all, should be part of the link description.

Given that I've only fooled around with the service for a little while yet, everything else seems great so far.

how about sandy storing and retrieving files? in I want Sandy. Last reply on May 27, 2008 13:25.

For any assistants job is to sometimes retrieve a file or a document and send it to the boss. Either now pairing sandy with a file storage online or somehow creating even a 125mb storage place would be awesome

LIke if i have an important word document i can forward it to my Sandy's address and then tag it with different tags. then when I want that file later i can say "Sandy retrieve credit report document" or "Sandy retrieve document @credit"

I think this personally would give a lot more of the assistant feel. :)

Add image via Edit Post in Mento. Last reply on May 24, 2008 09:03.

I usually want to post an item to a channel, with an image. Often the UI leads to me forgetting to grab my image, and "sending" to a channel. I can't find a way to go back & select an image via editing the post. Is this function available?

I'm very confused about Sending to a channel and not being able to SAVE to a channel. The Save tab does not offer channels, does it?

Icons on web should be optimised in Twitter. Last reply on May 23, 2008 20:27.

The icons for "add to favorites", "reply to this tweet" and "updates protected" on web are far too big for their content: 13, 46 and 13 kilobytes, respectively. They make pages load very slowly, and even more so for dial-up users.

For their dimensions, they should be under 1 kilobyte.

Optimising the images would reduce the bandwidth usage on Twitter a lot as well.

Another suggestion would be to put all icons on the same assets* server (maybe static.twitter.com?) to take advantage of HTTP 1.1 keep-alive.
