Allow us to forward the shipment email to a given address and have the tracking numbers automatically added to our account. Basically a similar setup to trackmyshipments.com but using your much more attractive interface. -

unreliable when dumping lots of files (small? big?) via fileintegration in Wuala. Last reply on June 11, 2008 07:58.
lately i have experimented with wuala and fileintegration on win32 (xp) and latest wuala builds (426). i was copying whole cd contents (different files, loads of folder structures) into a semi-private (group/friendshared(only 1 friend as an example/test)) to the wuala network drive (w: for example).
the copying went normally, but only some days after (this happened first some days ago, but i verified it today with other content (CDs)) i realized that the uploaded wuala content of the folder i copied the files into wasnt exactly the same as my original sources. some bytes/megabytes were missing, and i tracked down some of the files/folders that were created but only with filesize=0 (zero), or were missing completely.
i was copying the stuff with the help of total commander, so not the basic builtin explorer.exe functions, nor commandline copy stuff...
i might try some more of this stuff at a later time.
the missing/incomplete files dont seem to follow any certain rules or patterns, there are simply some folders that are completely identical/complete and some files are missing or come with zero size.
totalcommander never complained that it couldnt write to w: or anything else like that.
i was manually looking for the differences, found the missing/incomplete files and was overwriting the files on the wuala store again.
after these second tries and overwriting procedure the wuala store was eventually finally complete and identical to my source material.
i guess that some of the queues in the wuala client, the pending transactions, the chunk-creation and distribution or related functions and parts of the wuala client program are still lacking robustness.
please take a look at this and do your own tests with lots of files/folders and different objectsizes.
thanks. -

How to integrate ID into an existing membership database transparently? in Intense Debate.
Very interested in ID, but we want to be able to easily allow our existing member base to use their existing logins as transparently as possible with ID (in other words, not forcing them to register for new ID accounts, AND allowing their typical sign in on our sites to programatically sign them in to the ID accounts.)
Does ID offer an API that would allow this sort of two-way interaction? For reference, we're using PHP and MySQL for our membership backend. -

Facebook items should link to wall-to-wall, "send message" in Socialthing!. Last reply on June 07, 2008 10:07.
Socialthing should link to Facebook "wall-to-wall" and "send message" pages for my friends (besides linking to their profile). That is, when I see someone's status in my lifestream, I should be able to click "send X a message" or "wall-to-wall" to easily send them a public (wall) or private message. -

New Integration Tool - Diigo in Mento. Last reply on June 08, 2008 14:04.
I would love to see integration with Diigo. They do have an API now (http://www.diigo.com/tools/api). I think the integration is working amazingly well with Ma.gnolia and I would love to see it work with Diigo as well. -

Web Tool Integration in TrackThePack. Last reply on June 05, 2008 22:22.
I have a web based company and would like to put your tracking tool on my home page for my customers to track their orders/shipments. it makes sense to use one tool like yours rather than 3 different tools(USPS, FedEx, & UPS). I am not skilled enough to integrate it myself, if it's even available. Any help regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Chris Mayes

TripIt should partner with Dopplr! in TripIt. Last reply on June 05, 2008 18:06.
Given that you're both working in the new travel space, but doing different yet overlapping things, I think there's huge potential in hooking your two services together, and some obvious entry points -- particularly around reporting on a new trip. It would be great if, as part of forwarding something to plans@tripit.com, it would just automagically show up as a trip I'm taking in Dopplr.
Do it! -

Flickr integration? in Brightkite. Last reply on May 26, 2008 13:14.
Maybe you're already working on this, but how about when I send a photo from a location, you put that photo in my flickr stream in a set of my choosing with the proper location tags/metadata and other tags I may want to add.
I know I could just cc flickr on a picture email from my phone, but it would be cool to get the photo and useful location info to both places (bkite and flickr) in one step.
Perhaps you could also add some machine tags a la Upcoming.org so the flickr photo links back to my bkite post? -

How many connections to the Twitter API does Britekite request per hour? in Brightkite. Last reply on May 27, 2008 14:46.
I am wondering if the interaction with multiple twitter integrated services is using up all of the allowed connections. The Twhirl blog explains more about this issue: http://blog.twhirl.org/2008/04/10/lim... -

FriendFeed Rooms and Mento Channels in Mento. Last reply on May 27, 2008 13:18.
It would be great to connect my Mento Channels with a FriendFeed Room, so that I can post links to this room from Mento using #ChannelTags and see new links popping up in the channels from the FriendFeed room. -

Feature Request:Tighter integration with Outlook and Word in RescueTime. Last reply on May 22, 2008 09:00.
Outlook -- tracking how much time I spend on writing/responding to specific people. This will allow me to correctly bill for that time.
Here is what i would like tracked:
+ when i read an email: who sent it and what is the subject
+ when i write an email: who am i sending it to and what is the subject
Word -- Filename and location where it is saved
Then allow me to tag different activities so that I can say: these 3 emails are for client A and these 8 for client B. Same for documents -

How about an integration with the Loki toolbar? in Brightkite. Last reply on May 15, 2008 19:32.
The loki.com toolbar could be quite useful - it works with the same Wi-Fi location data as the iPhone does and the integration via JavaScript is a breeze. -

Syncing between Basecamp and Lighthouse in Beanstalk. Last reply on January 26, 2008 19:25.
There is a high level of overlap in beanstalk (bs), basecamp (bc) and lighthouse (lh). Specifically projects (bs, bc, lh), users (bs, bc, lh), and milestones (bc, lh).
It would be fantastic to sync the projects from basecamp to beanstalk and to lighthouse, and do the same for milestones. This would also go for users. So, considering that basecamp would be the center of operations (used by project managers) we could do the following:
1) Create a new project in basecamp. Go to beanstalk and flag that project to be "synced". This would auto-create the repository and auto-create a lighthouse project. It would also auto-create all of the appropriate user accounts.
2) Sync users between Basecamp and beanstalk and lighthouse. If I manage users in lighthouse, it should manage users in beanstalk and lighthouse.
3) Sync Milestones between Basecamp and Lighthouse.
I realize that basecamp has a weaker API that does not allow for many things to be remotely created. However, it does allow most things to be exported. And lighthouse does a great job with their API allowing you to do nearly anything remotely.
The only draw-back is that there is no way to attach events to basecamp so that when a new milestone, project, user is created that beanstalk can know about it and act accordingly. -

Feature Request: Outlook integration for RescueTime in RescueTime. Last reply on May 11, 2008 06:27.
I've been using RescueTime for two weeks now and am really enjoying it. I have two feature requests that I believe would double the value for anybody who uses MS Outlook.
1) Intergration to Outlook to record scheduled meetings (appointments of type Meeting or Recurring Meeting).
2) More granular recording of Outlook time (I spend about 30% of my time in Outlook it would be really valuable to understand what is spent on Tasks vs Mail etc). -
