How can I get invited quicker? in MasterMade. Last reply on June 15, 2008 07:28.
I love the idea of service, but I haven't gotten invited yet. I have responded to a couple of polls and loved the results. Now, I want to be able to create my own polls. -

Invitation mail coming from wrong address in Crusher. Last reply on June 12, 2008 06:01.
My partner and I both have Crusher accounts. I started to create an invitation by putting in the basic info. Then he signed on under MY account (I did not know yet about the "co-edit" feature) to customize the page graphics.
I then added the invitees' addresses, typed a personal note and previewed it. Everything looked fine. But after the email was sent, the subject line said that the invitation was coming from HIM not me. I don't know how this was possible, as he had never logged in under his account. Worse, I can't figure out how to send a correction email under my own name. Everything I send from that page comes from him, and most of the invitees don't know who he is and I'm afraid they will ignore the mail.
Help! -

Forcing users to establish wiki indentities upon receiving invites in PBwiki. Last reply on June 11, 2008 15:57.
I'm confused about wiki invitations. I thought that when I share my wiki with a user they reeive an email that prompts them to create a wiki identity. I just realized that this is not happening and many of the people that I have shared our wiki with just go in from the link embedded in the original invitation I sent. As a result, they are not showing up in my Users list. I want all users to showup in my Users list so how do I go about granting access in a way that forces this to happen? Thanks! -

Import contacts from Windows Live Mail in Twitter.
I can't seem to be able to import Windows Live email contacts to Twitter. My email ends with @live.com and the invitations page doesn't have @live in the list.
Hotmail is there, but why not Windows Live? -

Students Invitation to write w/o E-mail addresses in PBwiki. Last reply on June 05, 2008 00:21.
For an educator wiki, is there a way to invite students to read and write without an e-mail address? (I teach fourth grade. Most do not have e-mail addresses.) -

need more initial invites in Brightkite. Last reply on May 03, 2008 02:58.
i think brightkite is a potentially great service, but it's utility to new users is ~0 if we only get 1 invite. it's a social service, think network effects. -

More invites, please? I'll spread them around, honest! in Brightkite. Last reply on May 07, 2008 17:19.
I was hoping I could get some more invites. I work with a lot of people that love to try out and spread new technology and I just don't have enough invites for all of them. If it helps, let me say that we are all in a unique position to recommend cool products to prospective customers. -

Wide-open writer permissions: can I do that? How? in PBwiki. Last reply on May 02, 2008 17:08.
I want anyone who knows the name of my wiki to have writer permission (because it's for students *and* prospective students, and I won't know who all of the prospective students are before they want to access the wiki, so issuing one-by-one invitations won't work for me).
How do I do that? And if I can't do that, what is the closest I can come to it? -

How do we get a message to TIm? in O'Reilly Media. Last reply on April 14, 2008 04:49.
I want to start by saying we've used your site as an authority on RF Technology since we became interested earlier this year. Since then, you have risen in esteem within our ranks daily as we verify and cross-reference our data for accuracy.
You have the gratitude of a small but devoted company.
Earlier this year, we became aware of the vulnerabilities of the RF-enabled bank cards the banking industry are promoting and were, appropriately, concerned for the safety of our data. As we consider ourselves "Solution-oriented", we began immediately developing a response. What we came up with was a Faraday cage for your wallet, and called it "The Armadillo Dollar". (www.ArmadilloDollar.com)
Considering the lack of forthrightness by the issuing authorities, we have engaged on a campaign to 1) Inform the general public and 2) offer our solution (Capitalism is a good thing!).
We would like to offer you guys an Armadillo Dollar for your testing and review. It is lightweight, durable, and, if I may say so myself, a product that's quite sexy!
If it meets your standards, we would love to include you in our marketing program as affilliates. I won't go into the money side, as I seek your endorsement first. Let's just say we compensate our "sneezers" well.
If the ArmadilloDollar sizzles for you, feel free to write me at my email below or call me at [redacted by Get Satisfaction at request of poster] and we'll chat.
I look forward to your response... -

no invitations available in Wuala. Last reply on March 01, 2008 10:01.
Hi,
I just invited my office mate who signed up, published some pictures of the holidays and would like to share them with his family. He has, however, no invitations he can extend. How much time does it take between signing up to wuala and being able to actually invite people?
Thanx and greetings from Stockholm

Group Invitations - Several machines - Same user in Wuala. Last reply on January 08, 2008 06:23.
Hi!
I have several machines running wuala (2 of them in commandline mode). A friend just invited me to a group. The invitation got lost or maybe (is this possible?) arrived on one of the commandline clients where i could not answer it. Beside that i send a few group invites to my friend but none of them arrived yet.
How long does it take until they should arrive? Is it necessary to restart wuala?

link back to anteroom in photophlow. Last reply on October 27, 2007 21:03.
It might be good to have a link back to the anteroom from the invitation-sending popup -- or, a 'close popup" button I guess. I know there is alwasy the back button, but one is worried about losing one's 'stage'.
Maybe I missed this but I do not want to go there to check as I am not ready to send my last invitation.
Thanks
