Work on a document with Sandy in I want Sandy.

Sandy is great. If she could just do a couple more things that some personal assistants can do, she could be even better. Top of my list would be for Sandy to bring me a document at an appointed time, and "sit" with me to work on it. Simple version - Sandy (via some FF extension or Prism perhaps) launches any web URL (ie. any Google Doc or other online doc) in a reminder. More complex version: Sandy also launches local files. Gold medal: Sandy optionally locks everything else on my computer for the time we're working together (with a further optional "interrupt" task button").

Logging time is not very useful if you cannot see time cost reports in hedgehog lab. Last reply on July 01, 2008 08:24.

It's great that users can log their time spent on issues, but this is effectively useless if we cannot then view reports of the amount of time spent on issues.

Ideally you would be able to see a report of time spent on a per-project basis, and also on a per-user basis both across projects and within projects.

For more awesomeness, you'd also be able to filter these reports by other relevant fields, such as version and area if necessary, and also be able to specify date ranges.

Whatching video while downloading it. in Participatory Culture Foundation (Miro). Last reply on July 01, 2008 02:22.

Is it there any way to start watching videos while it is still being downloaded? If not, it could be a great feature to implement in Miro...

Almost all web video players allow you to start watching the video as soon as they downloaded a good buffer, avoiding make me wait until entire video is downloaded before i watch it.

Tweet timestamps are off by hours in Twitter. Last reply on June 28, 2008 21:00.

The JSON data that is used for including Twitter data on a website is sending incorrect time information. For a tweet that I made just now, at 1:49 PM EST (-0400) the data is:

    "created_at":"Fri Jun 27 12:49:03 +0000 2008"

This is plainly wrong. If it's UTC then I'd expect it to be 5:49 PM.

It should be noted that this incorrect time is *also displayed on the website* leading me to believe there are some funky math problems going on in a more central location.

Where is the clock in the header bar? in Second Gear. Last reply on June 27, 2008 15:15.

Just downloaded Today yesterday and it looks pretty nice. Why isn't there a clock in the black header bar? I'm not that concerned with today's date necessarily, but today's time is far more important! :)

I can easily live without 'Today is' and would prefer the time. After Today is already in the Windows title.

sent 3 tweets yesterday, but one has wrong timestamp in Twitter. Last reply on June 15, 2008 17:01.

A tweet I sent at 14:18 yesterday showed up as having been sent at 21:59. Both of the other tweets I sent the same day have the correct timestamps.

What caused this, and is there any way to fix it? It makes no sense, and is less than useful, to have tweets from lunchtime appearing as if they were sent late at night.

Why are the timestamps in Twitter RSS feeds listed in GMT? in Twitter. Last reply on June 14, 2008 03:25.

Preface: my computer's timezone, and my Twitter account's timezone, are both set to GMT-5 (Eastern Standard Time). I just posted a tweet.

    * On twitter.com, this tweet shows up with the correct timestamp - 8:59am.

    * On my twitter RSS feed, however, the timestamp for this same exact tweet is 1:59pm (to be more exact, Fri, 30 Nov 2007 13:59:31 +0000).

Despite my timezone setting being correct, my Twitter RSS feed seems to have time stamps in GMT+0 -which is inconvenient, since I pull my twitter RSS feed into a blog and my tweets sit on top of all my actual posts for quite a while due to these incorrect timestamps.

    occasional odd behavoir in Seesmic.

Still occasional odd behavoir using Black Seesmic site. Auto refresh not working. Video quality appears inconsistent, no specific time of day or number of other users on service. time. Some videos I have allowed to auto play for confidence after recording never made it to public time line or to Private message. Total number unknown, do not think it is many (guessing 5-10). Last night may have been most. Learned of easy work around using view Profile to avoid show/topic refresh problem.

    Reminder:
    Inbox notification inactive?
Scroll wheel on a Mac never worked but does on PC's to navigate Public as well as following, inbox and sent time lines.

timestamp on file doesnt get changed (openoffice saved the file) in Wuala. Last reply on June 03, 2008 09:10.

    hi there,

some while back i inserted an openoffice file into the wuala datastore.

somewhen later i edited the file with openoffice. then saved it inside openoffice. the file in the wuala data store has the new content and changes. but the timestamp in the wuala gui (win32) still shows the original filedates and timestamps for both inserted and last modified.

    bug? fix? thanks.

Could twitterfeed add support for asctime's format in pubDate? in twitterfeed. Last reply on June 01, 2008 12:15.

I know that pubDate should be in rfc822 date-time format (something like: "%a, %d %b %Y %H:%M:%S GMT" -- argument for strftime() or strptime()), but my RSS feed supplies pubDate in the format "%a %b %d %H:%M:%S %Y" (default format produced by asctime(), ctime() functions).

Could twitterfeed add support for such format?

I've created a yahoo pipe to fix item's pubDate as a workaround, but maybe someone has this problem too.

Living on Bangkok Time in I want Sandy.

Timing -- Sorry to put this in the wrong spot, but I dunno where else to put it: I live in Thailand, where it's now 5:00pm. However, Sandy thinks it is 6:00pm. Is there a way to fix this? (I assume it has to do with the US Savings Time system -- we don't change times, this close to the equator.)

    Limiting Follower/following creatively in Twitter.

Having a setting that allows the user of twitter to set his own parameters for followers/following

Stale Date- twitter users would pick a number of twitters from 1 to 50 and a number of weeks from 1 to 50. This number of post over time would determine who is automatically removed from your followers/following list. So if you were really open you could say to be on my list you have to post 1 time in 50 weeks. Or you could be a hard and say you have to post 50 times in 50 weeks.

With each user setting this up the Twitter software would go through on log in and check your parameters for inclusion, and boot those off your following/followers list who do not meet your requirement. Your first log in could take a while but it would be faster after that.

This means that everyone would have some requirements.

Those who are not using twitter will slowly get fewer and fewer contact. If they decide to start using twitter again they can always re-friend some one.

This would save cycles of computer time for those who are using Twitter and slowly minimize those who just joined to some one reach a membership number in some silly contest.

Nothing is bad about bringing people into twitter with contest but if they are just there to link to a few people and not ever show up again what good are they. This way they can still stay a member of twitter but they are limited in their footprint over time.

24 hour clock times in 0745 format in I want Sandy.

I like to express times in 24 hour clock format, but without a : or . in between. Surely I can't be alone in this? So long as the user types "at" before the time, could Sandy not start recognising times like 0900 and 2100? I don't think that's too ambiguous, and it would stop me accidentally scheduling all my reminders for the beginning of the day (i.e. 0700 digest).
