Timestamps in Dipity are not correct in Dipity.
I noticed that when getting information from a feed that the timestamp is not right. On my blog I have a entry for 7:40PM but dipity displays it as 12:40 AM the next day. I think that this is because feeds like wordpress automatically set the time to GMT +0:00 and dipity is reading that as a local time instead of universal. I know I can fix this in the wordpress php source code to not switch back to GMT +0:00 but what about apps like twitter of youtube, ones that I can't change the code. You should use a similar techniques as Google Reader, all of those entries are accurate. In the feed settings have the user select a time zone and set the time accordingly. This may help to prevent branding me as a night hawk. -

Why are the timestamps in Twitter RSS feeds listed in GMT? in Twitter. Last reply on May 16, 2008 20:38.
Preface: my computer's timezone, and my Twitter account's timezone, are both set to GMT-5 (Eastern Standard Time). I just posted a tweet.
* On twitter.com, this tweet shows up with the correct timestamp - 8:59am.
* On my twitter RSS feed, however, the timestamp for this same exact tweet is 1:59pm (to be more exact, Fri, 30 Nov 2007 13:59:31 +0000).
Despite my timezone setting being correct, my Twitter RSS feed seems to have time stamps in GMT+0 -which is inconvenient, since I pull my twitter RSS feed into a blog and my tweets sit on top of all my actual posts for quite a while due to these incorrect timestamps. -

Wrong time displayed on text messages from Twitter in Twitter. Last reply on May 13, 2008 20:44.
Why is the wrong time displayed on my text messages from Twitter? Every text I receive from the Twitter number has a timestamp of an hour later than the actual time it is received. I even tried changing my time zone to CST instead of EST in hopes of 'tricking' it to send the correct time, but it still doesn't work right. This also causes new texts from other sources to display somewhere way down in my Inbox since the newest texts appear on top and it assumes the others are at least an hour old. -

Time Offset on Dashboard Wrong in Beanstalk. Last reply on April 25, 2008 14:56.
I just noticed that my dashboard says there was no activity today, and all of today's activity falls under the "yesterday" heading. It appears the time offset isn't been carried through to the dashboard.
I double-checked that I had set the time zone setting was correct, which I did. And revisions are showing the correct time, but the dashboard is off. -

Why do I receive SMS tweets after the 'off' time for notifications? in Twitter.
I have Twitter notifications turned off between 11PM and 7AM. However, I still get some tweets between 11PM and 12 or 1AM (not quite sure what the limit is). Is this possibly a time zone issue? Yes - I do have my time zone set correctly on the settings page. -

allow user to set the timezone for an account in Beanstalk. Last reply on March 22, 2008 20:36.
We have integrated our account with Lighthouse and are always a little thrown off that beanstalk changes over to the next day several hours before our lighthouse account does.
I'm guessing that you are using GMT as the server time. If we could set the timezone for our account it would be very helpful.
There is a well known rails plugin to handle this - http://agilewebdevelopment.com/plugin...
