Can you use Skype for free to access the calls or can you only access it via the 724-444-7444 number and therefore must pay for the call using Skype?
I downloaded the Talkshoe Pro and used the Shoe phone for my test call and I incurred really bad static. Any suggestions on how to eliminate the static using the Talkshoe phone client?
Is there anyway to change the itunes feed URL in talkshoe? We'd really like a little more control over this feed, and being able to use our own URL rather than the autgenerated talkshoe URL would be a huge help.
I cannot upload my show, and I have been trying since Saturday, Oct. 4. It is now Oct. 7. Can someone please get back to me on this. I have tried from multiple computers.
This minor compared to the problems of the recent past, but I noticed that you cannot add a image to your call shows. I noticed this last night, when I made a new call show, and it still is the case today. when you try you get the evil screen indicating that this function is not possible.
I'm new to talkshoe and want to upload images and an avatar for my show. But everytime I do it, I get error messages or the images are x'd. Clearly the system isn't working in this regard. When will it be fixed?
The desktop hosting application has a "gate" which cuts out if the volume is too low. How do I disable that? I'm trying to rebroadcast a live room presentation, and I'm already doing everything I can to ensure that my source audio is compressed and levelled to stay in the upper third of the volume levels, but the built-in "gate" of the desktop hosting client still keeps cutting out occasionally apparently thinking we've stopped talking. My remote guests find this extremely annoying, because they'd rather hear the low level sound than keep cutting back to dead silence. How do I disable the "gate" in the desktop client?
I recorded a one hour show yesterday (20+ hours ago). It shows on the list for that podcast but does NOT show as available for listening or downloading. It's like it's not done processing yet ---it's stuck!! Help. What do I do
10/1/08 @ 7pm System problems appearing again - you can not upload episodes, you get the evil screen again, yet the talkshoe.com main page says that the all systems are working normally
