Can a user mute themselves on a call?
I am going to try to keep the call live - not muted... and would like to
ask those with background noise to mute themselves....
Is there a way for each phone user to mute themselves??
This answer might be in the help videos but... I can't see them!!
(that is a whole other subject but for those that want to know - I
tried firefox 3.0.4 IE7 and yes I have the latest quicktime plug in)
Thanks!!

Inappropriate? If the host has not muted listeners (yes, we believe in hosts having dictatorial control over their calls) then users can self-mute & unmute by pressing *M (as in "mute" -- AKA *6) on their touch tone key pads to take themselves in and out of the talk domain.
And if a caller is muted (whether by the host or by their own hand), they can press * T (as in "talk" -- AKA *8) to raise their hand and indicate that they want to talk.
