No. The TalkShoe Live! Pro computer software and TalkShoe Live Web Client includes many advanced features including chat, and is the heart of a live conversation. Therefore, the chat window must stay open at all times. Of course, you can choose to just ignore the chat.

Yes, you can now turn off the chat engine. After launching the TalkShoe Live client, click the block chat button.
