i can't end show
I am trying to close out my show and whether I hit END or TERMINATE, nothing happens. I can't shut it off

Inappropriate?Is this still happening? If so, please let us know. But, when this happens, you usually can leave and re-enter the room and those buttons should now work, if not, you can always send us a tweet on Twitter and we'll terminate it for you.

Inappropriate?If you can't end your show (AKA call), it's probably due to one of these reasons:
1) You disconnected your phone call or Voice-over-IP (VoIP) connection. Re-establish your phone or VoIP connection and then "end" recording and "terminate" the call.
2) You are still connected on the phone/VoIP but your TalkShoe Live client has lost its connection to our servers. Stay on the phone while you restart TalkShoe Live and then "end" recording and "terminate" the call.
If neither of these resolves the problem, send a Twitter tweet to TalkShoe or call our "system down" support line at 724-935-8265.

Inappropriate?I have tried what you have suggested, but my call will still not be terminated. I also can not connect via SJPhone anymore.

Inappropriate?Not only can we not end shows but there was no audio stream and no SIP connectivity tonight. My call ID is 75570, people reported that they could hear if they dialed in but we could not connect though Sip, with ShoePhone or MP3 stream.
Why is it that things always seem to blow up on Sundays?

Same issue on 45077 (TUAW.com show). We encouraged everyone to call in and it worked out for the most part, but now the show is stuck 'running.' -
Inappropriate?I'm showing the exact same issue with my show at 33899. Termination won't terminate, the streams wouldn't stream, and inbound SIP was broken. I was ... displeased.

Inappropriate?Well, my show appears to have stopped and been made available for download without any extra time. Now to add in the sound effects that the lack of VoIP connectivity left me without. (*sad trombone*)

Inappropriate?Hi everybody. This problem was resolved around 9:00 AM ET this morning -- it was TalkShoe's fault. Sunday night, the hi-capacity Voice-over-IP card on our conference bridge failed. This causes:
- loss of audio streaming into the chat rooms (AKA to TalkShoe Live clients)
- failure of ShoePhone, Gizmo5, SJPhone, and all other inbound VoIP calls
- muting of the host if there are no other callers to that show
- failure to properly terminate calls (they get stuck in the "live" state)
Sorry about that. We are contacting the conference bridge vendor to investigate the root cause.

Dave, I've been around long enough to know that this isn't the first time that bridge has collapsed... the frustrating part of it for me is the fact that the girders always seem to fall on Sunday nights! -
Inappropriate?We do try to update people promptly during failures. In this case, we totally missed it when it first occurred. Major screw-up on our part. If you prefer a juicy excuse, when the card crashed we were watching the Steelers beat the Ravens and were not paying attention to TalkShoe's system health. I'm sure it's a risk you have in dealing with any company based in the Pittsburgh region. Sorry, it won't happen again, except possibly next Sunday between 1 and 4 PM.
