Calling the Talkshoe number, if you're outside of PA is a long distance call and it's not free.
The Talkshoe service is free, nonetheless. ;>)

Inappropriate?Yes, Only if calling TalkShoe is long distance and you don't get that as part of your phone plan. Lots of Cell Phone carriers offer free nights and weekend, which can sometimes help.
Also, not living in the US, can cause a charge when calling, since you are calling Pennsylvania it will probably be long distance. I'd recommend calling via VOiP or SIP.
