Live Web Needs Visual Feedback of Audio activity
The Live Web interface desperately needs some way to signal that the sound you hear being broadcast on the air is coming from THAT caller. Not the least reason being that it'd mean I had to wrestle with the Java client with it's crazy processor needy architecture anymore. The one thing it does measurably better is let me know who's making odd noises so I can mute them.

Inappropriate? This used to be a feature prior to one of the upgrades and I certainly do miss this feature.
From time to time, I have random people that come on the OSD-Obsessive Sneaker Disorder show and disrupt the flow by saying random, stupid things.
Please restore this feature. Please!! -
Inappropriate? My issue is sometimes people will have either bad bg noise or a lot of echo, and it's almost impossible to trace down without being able to see some kind of activity meter / light. Mind you, I'd kill to have random people drop by my show and push up my numbers ... :)
I’m amused

Inappropriate?I like the idea.. and I am sure it is on the list, because I think you will eventually see most of the features from the Pro client on the Web Client.
I bet you will see it in the future.

Inappropriate?I have a call with Dave tomorrow and will let you know what he says.. Although, I know the Engineers are working to fix the Streaming issues and the some other bugs at the moment.
I'll ask him and let you know.

Inappropriate?Might be a good idea to get a sketchy roadmap of features for the next few months if they'll even commit to something wholly squishy, to have something to put in front of the community to say, "Here's what we're doing and about when we're aiming to see it hit."
I'm still waiting to see microblogging of events from TalkShoe Internal. ;)
-
Inappropriate? For competitor reasons, we do not release the Roadmap to the Public.
I do like the idea of seeing who is Talking in the Web Client - I can see this eventually happening. Maybe changing the color of the phone icon if they are talking. Then it comes down to a Browser handling issue, possibly.
We'll be pinging Twitter a bit more very soon! ;)
