New Feature: Instant Calls
Dave announced the new feature on Thursday and now its time to announce it here.
In order to start your new instant call you will need to do the following:
1. Call (724) 444-7444 or 66.212.134.192.
2. When it asks for your Call ID, enter your Call Id and PIN together then press #.
3. It should tell you that the instant call has been created.
4. Then continue with normal TalkShoe Call Login
Note: This feature is only available to the host of a call.
As Dave said, this feature will be useful to hosts that have a Call based on Movie Reviews, Food or even a late breaking news story.

Inappropriate?I've followed these instructions but unfortunately, I wasn't able to create a call... I did hear the prompt of your call has been created but I couldn't start recording (i.e., by pressing *2*1). The system told me that this was incorrect. So, my question is how do I start an Instant Call from my cell phone? What's the next step?

Inappropriate?I can start the call, but it tells me my pin is not recognized - while using shoephone. everyone else can dial in, but i need to go through my computer for sounds and such.

Inappropriate?The Instant Call feature is for calling in via the phone line only at this time. If you are calling in via your PC using Shoephone or some other SIP program, then you will control your calls like normal, via the PC. If you are calling in using a land line or cell phone, you can use the instant call feature and use *2*1 to start and stop the recordings for your call. Since you need to add audio during your show, then calling in via the PC is the only way to accomplish this at this time. -
Inappropriate?Just to make a quick note to what Rob mentioned, You can connect via SIP (just not ShoePhone) to use the Instant Call feature as long as it is enabled.
