VoIP fixed? Not so much.

Since the "all clear" was given on the 19th, my ability to use VoIP has been extremely sketchy at best. In only about 10 out of well over 200 attempts did the call get answered by Talkshoe on the first ring, and was I able to enter a talkshoe ID # and get on a call. Most of the time, it took up to 10 calls to actually hear the recording and get the thing to accept an ID #.

Between 1100 and 1200 EDT 21 March, I've tried 25 times in a row, and have never gotten the thing to accept an ID #. All it's doing today is picking up (consistently) after one ring and then going completely quiet.

I don't know if it's related to this issue I already posted. Maybe my current woes are particular to me. But, for what it's worth, my experience of Talkshoe in general is worse today than at any point during this week. I can't see the website, I can't dial in on VoIP (after sorta being able to do it on Thursday and early Friday). The only part of Talkshoe I can get to reliably is talkshoe.ning.com — but, of course, that's not really Talkshoe. For me, Talkshoe is 90% down at the moment, with only one possibility for communication. I can dial in on a "real" phone, as long as I'm willing to do the call "blind" (without the aid of a chatroom).

I know you guys are working hard to fix things, and it sounds like you've got an elusive foe, but I thought you should know that, at least from where I'm sitting, you're not winning the battle today, and the system status report from the 19th no longer accurately describes the situation.

sad I’m not sure the system is doing all that well
