VOIP, via SIP, on Linux, stopped working this past Sunday
Getting "on the call" via VOIP, using SIP client software on Linux, was working fine until precisely last Sunday; now I get error "Remote user cleared the call", which apparently means the Talkshoe system is disconnecting me. Prior to this Sunday past, things were working fine, but now I get the same error repeatedly. FWIW the SIP client software is 'Ekiga'. Has TalkShoe cut me off for some reason?

What IP address do you connect to? The only change in the Talkshoe system has been addition of more PSTN ports and that should not affect your case.
Does "Ekiga" generate log? If it does then send me the logfile, which would give me some indication of what is the problem. You can send the log file to me at the email address, madhurip@talkshoe.com.

Inappropriate?I have a couple of additional questions/suggestions that will help us diagnose this problem.
First, please try 66.212.134.192, and then try 66.212.134.195, and let us know whether the same problem occurs on both addresses (Note: the 195 address is different hardware and should be used only for this test).
After that, please go to http://www.sjlabs.com/sjp.html and download the Linux version of SJphone and test the same two addresses.
Let us know what you discover. That will help us diagnose the problem. Thanks.

Inappropriate?I have made the leap and for the first time used X-Lite with SIP for OSD-Obsessive Sneaker Disorder (Show #50) last night (Wednesday, Sept. 17th).
Twice during the show callers said that my audio came across "chopped & screwed", a sound made popular by rap artists in Houston, TX. Both times I had to hang-up on X-Lite and call back in.
The Voip that I use to call into my show is sip:123@66.212.134.192, and this connects me to TalkShoe fine.
Everything was going very well and for the first time, my sound quality was the best it has ever been. (I typically host my show by calling in via my Vonage home phone.) At around 10:20 pm EST, is when I ran into my first issue and then had a repeat at 10:50 pm EST.
Is there something that I did incorrectly or something that I can do so as to not have a repeat of the same issue next week when my show airs?
