I would love the ability to add waist measurements into the same app - and also the ability to enter the waist in either metric or english system separate from weight - meaning - the ability to add Weight in Kg's and Waist in Inches. (or vice versa as the case may be)
If this was possible - this app would be the perfect app for me
Thanks
I have been using Weightbot for at least six months but ever since I upgraded my iPod Touch 2nd generation to 3.0 it disappears from my iPod every time I sync. I download it direct to my iPod each time but time and time again it disappears when I sync. What on earth is happening ?
I have Convertbot Mini on my iPhone and a friend liked the look of it and wanted to download it - I can't find it in the AppStore anymore? Has it been removed?
Weightbot should use a 10- or 20-day moving average for the trendline. It's too reactive to daily fluctuations in weight, which is disheartening on days when my weight is up even slightly.
I love the simplicity of Weightbot, and the interface. However one simplification I find limits the usefulness. The monthly and yearly views are a great use of screen real estate (lots of data history), but the fact that it is bound to a month/year is problematic as each new month/year begins. Why have a chart with one data point, lots of wasted blank space, when there is good data available? Why not have an option for the month view to be the trailing 30 days (or trailing 4 weeks) and the year view be the trailing 12 months.
Today for the first time I have a problem with Weightbot: When I click on the day it shortly shows the amount of yesterday and then immedately goes back to 0 (Zero). What’s wrong?????
What do you think about an integration with "the first Wifi scale linked to the Internet to automatically register weight and impedance measurements"? Their iPhone application isn't pretty awesome...
The BMI calculation seems to be optimistic. I have a set of scales, which calculates my BMI... and I've used several online tools to do the same. Weight Bot is always the first to show that my BMI has fallen by 0.1. It's not until I lose another 0.1kg of weight that the other tools catch up with the BMI shown by Weight Bot.
This seems to be due to a rounding error. Example:
However, Weight Bot incorrectly reports the BMI as 23.7. Are you just using "%.1f" to format the display? I believe that rounding doesn't occur in this case, merely truncation.
I just upgraded from an iPhone 3G to an iPhone 3GS and was able to import all my applications over -- but none of my months of Weightbot (v. 1.3) data! Can't import Weightbot data to my new iPhone 3GS! The folks at Apple iPhone "Tier 2" support tell me that the data is lost. In fact, it still lives on my old iPhone and is backed up on my laptop -- but how do I port it over to my new iPhone? (I did a backup and then restore, as Apple told me to do.)
Weightbot: in the one screen the time block says passed 2 days (correct that how long I've been using it) Left says 834 days what is that? 834 days left to what? - it is not how long it will take me to reach my goal as my average of 6kg per month will get me down to my target in 5 months which is around 150 days ??
