Hi folks, a quick update. The "twitpocalypse" issue broke Tweetsville on June 12. We immediately jumped into action and submitted an update that addresses the issue to the App Store on June 13. Unfortunately, the update has still not been approved. This is out of our control for now. Sincere apologies.
Hello fellow Tapulous community members! Although most of you all have probably seen me around here posting, I will introduce myself to you all who do not know me. My name is Trevor, however on the internet I go by krohn7master. I am turning 16 in three weeks, and some of the things I enjoy doing are skateboarding, hanging with friends, and playing video games. Tap Tap Revenge 1.0 is by far my favorite video game of all time, and Tap Tap Revenge 2.6 is definitely up there with it along with Call of Duty 4, Warhawk, Burnout Paradise, Star Fox 64, and Cruis'n Exoctica. I am ranked in the top ten in the world across all Tap Tap Revenge games, and recently I have been fortunate enough to acquire a spot as a summer intern at Tapulous HQ!
So for those of you folks who have new ideas, questions, or concerns, do not hesitate to share what you all want to share around here. As a new member to the Tapulous team, I am here to help you all and spread the words of you all to the board here to make Tapulous' apps as best as they can be.
Keep tappin' and keep up the awesome ideas and questions you guys share and overwhelm my imagination with.
I purchased Tweetsville on 6/27/09. For four days, I have been disappointed in its inability to perform the essential task of retrieving tweets. Today, July 1, Tweetsville crashes on launch. I would like to know the process of receiving a refund.
If tapulous announced this page on the news page this would get more people on it...
Also if you said you got Free Tapulous points for each GOOD bug report/ question /idea
People would come storming in here... Im aware that over 8 million(out of like 30 million Iphone users) people have tap tap or something along those lines ...
and the idea is to get more people who notice bugs out of those 8 million people
I have yet to open Tweetsville successfully on my iPhone. I've tried oh, 25-35 times, and it crashes every single time after I input my username and password.
Tweetsville isn't showing anything on the main home scren. Is this because of signed integer problem with other have hit up against too? When will this be fixed?
Due to the recent change in the Tapulous Screen Name Policy, my screen name was modified without my consent. Subsequently, I no longer wish to maintain an account or any association with Tapulous or its related products.
The screen name I selected was accepted when the account was created and is the same username by which I am identified at every online service I use. I consistently elect to register this username in part because mirrors my personal domain name.
Further, this is also the username for my Twitter account and therefore additional conflicts would no doubt result. Rather than submit to compulsory username censorship, I will immediately cease any and all use of Twinkle. I find that the imposition of this arbitrary, capricious and retroactively punitive policy is too arduous and outweighs any benefit derived from using the Tapulous services or products.
Please inform me of which steps I must take to disassociate myself from any and all Tapulous services as well as how to discontinue receiving emails originating from your company.
When I select my Tweetsville icon the white screen comes up for approximately 3 seconds and then it takes me back to my homescreen on the iPhone. It had been working well until this morning.
i don't understand very well twitter, i'm following tapulous, but what do i need to do to get a chance to win a free premium app from u guys? plz help =)
I've noticed the text the describes how and when a person tweeted doesn't appear as clean as it should. This started happening one day about a month ago and I couldn't figure what the problem was since I believe it didn't happen after an app update. It only happens on the parts of the app, specifically on tweets you view in the trends and tweets you manually search for, and look clean everywhere else. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but still no luck on fixing the problem. I assume it may occur because twitter changed something in their API with this, or if did occur after the last update, then because the code used to execute the proper look wasn't done properly on these parts. I still have love for Tweetsville even though it feels like the app will vanish soon due it reduced prescence on the tapulous site and lack of updates, in what feels like months. Hopefully this will get fixed if it is a global problem, and maybe some other tweaks will appear in an upcoming update.
