Inappropriate?Hey - We aren't quite sure yet. If there is a lot of demand for it, you never know...
-
How will you know what the demand is....? -
You're telling us ;) -
Sweet! I'll keep a look out for it! -
i have a G1. My boyfriend has a iPhone. i'm tired of borrowing his phone 2 play tap tap revenge. LOL. Bring tap tap revenge 2 the android community.......PLEASE! -
Inappropriate?Hmm.. A group of rockstar Mac OS X platform developers working on a Google Android Java application... Stranger things may have happened =P
I’m amused
-
ew Java -
Inappropriate?I'd love to see TR on Android. Android is new but very much up and coming - it would benefit your product to make it for iPhone and Android both. Kind of have to these days
I’m excited
-
Inappropriate? My friend with an iPhone who doesn't even like rhythm games is always playing this. It is a great app and NEEDS to be on Android before the GH app comes along. It sounds like they have a pretty good idea of how to keep the game fresh and putting it on Android would only increase the hype already surrounding it.
I’m confident
-
I agree
They will come out with one soon -
Inappropriate? You guys all have the G1? How do you like it?
-
I really like it. Had a couple of build quality issue but I really like Android and the phone software and hardware.
Btw it XtremeKh from earlier -
I've had my G1 for a few weeks now, and I love it. Push Gmail and tactile keyboard are great. The Android Market is growing fast, and there are already many amazing apps.
The Android platform would make things like tapping to any MP3 a possibility - I'd love to see this in TTR! -
Interesting... Very interesting... -
that'd be awesome -
Inappropriate?I love my G1. I love the way it instantly syncs all of my email and calendars. It doesn't matter if I add events or contacts on the computer or the phone. I know it will be there. Battery life could be a little better, but the android OS is super solid, and has a lot of potential since it is open source.
-
Yea I agree - the MobileMe contacts/calendar sync features are some of my fav on the iPhone... -
Yeah, color coding of shared calendars is nice too.
The battery *usually* gets me through the day, and I charge every night, so it's not a big issue for me - it could definitely be better though. -
Inappropriate? Here's another user who'd LOVE To have tap tap revenge on the Android....
Happy Holidays! -
Inappropriate?I'm desperate for it, a few of my friends are playing on their iTouch's while I'm playing Trap, which gets old. I WANT Tap Tap!
I’m exciteed

Thanks for letting us know :) -
Inappropriate?"The Android platform would make things like tapping to any MP3 a possibility - I'd love to see this in TTR! "
Mmmmm, That would be good for those Android users, but would be highly unfair and a smack in the face for those iPhone & iTouch fans that swear by Tapulous products as been the best.
Let's not forget that Tapulous has it's (hopefully) primary platform. Also by introducing other platforms to their "develop for" list, isn't that going to significantly hinder updates, and future development as there would be 2 platforms to release for.
It would be unfair to release a new version for one let's say, and the other would have to wait considerably longer because of programming.
I also think that by porting to android and allowing tapping to any MP3 would cause a hell of a lot of iPhone/iTouch users to become extremely annoyed.
This is a feature that we would like very much, but at the moment (unless ed and the guys have found a way to do it with OS 3) it isn't possible.
To have this feature on one platform and not the other would be downright evil.
Now if they were to port it, they would certainly have to be exactly the same feature wise and would also not have to hurt current development/improvement speed.
If that can be assured then I say..... Hell, why not!
Let's not forget though, that while this would be an exciting move for Tapulous & Android users alike, at the moment there is still too many issues with the Apple platform version to be even thinking about porting.
I’m all heated up with this
-
Sorry, but this is an absurd argument. Hold back development on other platforms that have features uniquely suited to your app's needs just to avoid affending some fanboys? Not exactly a sound business model. If iPhone users are so upset about the limitations of their phone, they should complain to Apple or switch to Android. -
I agree with lungcookie. Apple's extreme limitations on their apps is the fault on why most apps are limited. If TTR ever got ported to Android, it would more than likely be better than the iPhone version and I think that just upsets some fanyboys. Also, I have TTR on my iPhone and I am having NO issues on mine. Perhaps you should look into that. -
If, someday, we decide to make Tap Tap for Android, we not forget about the iPhone OS. This is where we started and we love this space. It would be awesome if we could guarantee identical features and updates on both platforms - since it's not in the cards right now, I can't be sure how that'd work out. -
Just saw my awesome grammar.. "we not forget" lol.. -
Inappropriate? If Tapulous actually ported TTR to Android, I'm sure it's gonna spur the platform competition between iPhone OS and Android even further. This is significant enough for Apple to take note, with TTR being one of Apple's best anchoring product and one of the first.
-
Inappropriate?I think TTR should indeed be ported onto the Android platform. The Android community is ever increasing as we see all the major cell phone makers starting to make Android phones. By not having this product on that platform you guys are missing out on a lot of profit opportunities. The success on the Iphone OS is huge, the success on Android will be just as significant! :D
I’m excited
