Block / Ignore feature would be useful, PLEASE
Block / Ignore feature so you can't see certain users / other users can't see you on Twinkle. There's seriously some ignorant people that should not be using the internet, and I really don't want dudes messaging me for nudes.

The best point from the company

alright folks, i'm happy to report that Twinkle 1.2 is going to the App Store for review on Monday. Hopefully it'll be live just a few days later.
I’m psyched

Inappropriate? We've also noticed the need. As you can see in the screenshot above, it has been coded and will be in the next release.

Right on! -
Inappropriate?thanks so much, really looking forward to getting it where i can find actually interesting people looking to do more than have sex with each other and curse to look cool. i imagine my block list will get pretty long pretty quick! :)
I’m anticipating

Count me in as one of those who'll have a long list of blocked people -
Inappropriate?I thought I would stop by and see if Twinkle has added the blocking function yet.
I got tired of waiting aand moved to Twittelator a few weeks ago. It has a TON of options and has had 3 updates since the Twinkle block function was promised.
Sorry Tapulous, but Twittelator kicks Twinkles ass.
I’m indifferent

And yes, Twittelator now has a "Nearby" and a block function so no need to use Twinkle anymore.
Don't get me wrong. I LOVED Twinkle when it first came out. But Twittelator has not only matched Twinkle, but far surpassed it in every way. Tapulous has just taken way to long to get an update online. -
Inappropriate?Sorry we lost you Robert! I hope you give us another shot after the update :)

Inappropriate?Twittelator cannot have a Nearby functionality, because they are just a twitter client and twitter does not store the location of the tweets. What they try do to is to use the location field of the twitter account. But this has nothing do to with where the tweet was written. Take Twitteriffic: They update the location field in your Twitter account every post, when you click on the little icon. For Twittelator, this means, that every tweet this person writes during his whole life now gets displayed on this new location. This of course is nonsense. Friday I tweeted from the Metallica concert in Berlin. Twittelator would display these feeds now located at my home. Twinkle works different in that it saves the location for every tweet you write. So if I look at the nearby now, I see the tweets wrote near my home, at work I see the tweets written near my work and if I go to the to O2 World arena, I'll see the tweets I wrote their on friday. That's the difference. And, speaking for me, Twinkle has the only usable implementation of location based tweeting.

Woo hoo! -
22 days later and still nothing. Is there a reason for the delay?? -

Inappropriate?Yay I'm all excited now as I'm getting so sick of seeing one particular user's profanities. Let's hope Apple doesn't hold it up too long or get picky like they've been with a couple of apps.....
I’m woohoo!

Thanks for your report. We'll review their account. -
Inappropriate? Is there any chance of cleaning Twinkle of some of the garbage? It has become a douchebag repository and a place for children to get attention by posting as many racial slurs in a row as they can fathom.
Please, your product is going to complete crap here.
I’m sad
