Cannot submit my score :-(
I got an insanely high score (for me, at least) on Around the Bend, but I cannot submit my score. I can't even view the leaderboard! It says I have to create a Tapulous profile, which I of course already have.

Inappropriate?Oh no! Could have been your internet connection? -- Also, is it still saying this?
-
Inappropriate?I'm not sure; I think when this happened I had been playing offline and then connected to the Internet later. I tried to submit my score for Girls of Prey a few hours ago (I think I had been playing offline), and I could not submit my score then, either (I got a pretty high score, too :-/).

Yea, soon we'll have batched score submissions so you can play offline, and still get your scores on the leaderboard. -
Is that a good/safe thing to do? There aren't any guarantees if someone goes through the trouble of modifying the score file/data in a jailbroken device and submitting a bogus score.
There is only one way I know of that offline/delayed score submissions work (in a legit way), as I've told one of my Youtube viewers in a PM:
As far as submitting a score when offline--there is a small workaround, but it only works if you're willing to wait until you get within WiFi range, which means you can't listen to music or do anything with your iPod in the meantime. What you do is you press the sleep button when you reach the total screen at the end of a song. Then, once you are within a known WiFi range, press the sleep button to turn on your iPod once again, but do NOT unlock it just yet. Wait in the unlock screen until the WiFi icon comes on, and THEN unlock it and try to submit your score.
It should work, as I've done this a few times. However, there are times when the game will exit to the home screen when you press the sleep button, so as I said before, it's not guaranteed.
The above applies of course if you didn't disable WiFi entirely within the iPod settings. That would mean unlocking the iPod and exiting the game (losing the score) to enable WiFi once again, so make sure WiFi is always enabled if you want to do this trick. It's great for when you play a lot of songs and your WiFi drops and you really want to submit a score :) -
Yes, it could be possible for people to cheat that way. A number of things are encoded and sent with the score so it'd be quite difficult... Not to make any challenges ;) -
Haha, I won't take that challenge yet I think, maybe 10 years from now, then I'll be a professional programmer! =D.
I also scored a score of 1290k+ on Without You (at school) so I had to wait 6 hours to send it :P. Funny you use the same way to send scores later as I do ;). -
Inappropriate?@DX-Chain: Re sleeping the iPod, I have done that before, and I think that's what I was doing when I encountered the problem I first mentioned. However, maybe because the WiFi around my house is so crappy, it just wasn't working for me. :-(
