Can't log in or add device

My log in information just disappeared one day and now I can no longer log in. When I put in my Tapulous user name and email, I get the following msg:

Username Taken - If you have registered this username with Tapulous before, you can add this device to your existing profile.

Then I have the options to cancel or add device. I select add device, which opens the web and says an email has been sent to me to add the device. I click the link in the email and get a page that says it's fixed. But when I return to the app, it takes me through the same loop. Unfortunately the new update did not fix the problem. Please help.
