Inappropriate?Does it work sometimes but not all the time? this happens with me where I shake but it doesnt register it yet it doesnt knock me off the Xmultiplier. I have a 1st gen touch so im not sure about the 2nd gen1 Comment

I couldn't get it to work at all until I pulled the ipod towards me. -
Inappropriate?On my Jailbroken 1st Gen, the forward shake especially doesn't work so well. Sounds like it's a problem in the game rather than your device. -

Inappropriate?Try shaking the device when the arrow has gone half way down the screen, instead of when it reaches the taping point. You'll see the word "great" appear, your combo will go up by 1, and the arrow will still slide past as if you've missed it, but don't worry. As long as the combo counter goes up, you've nailed it.
ALSO if you repeatedly shake the device forward and backwards in anticipation for the middle arrow, you will miss it.
In case you were wondering, I'm playing on a 2nd gen iPod touch as well.

Inappropriate?Also try shaking it with just a quick flick from your wrist, not a whole shake. That seems to work best for me. -
Inappropriate?I've found the trick is to move the iPod away and flick my wrist. Truth is - everyone I've seen play the game as a different method for shakes.

Inappropriate?Thank god someone else had this question. It's been driving me crazy! I think I've only gotten it to work maybe 2 or 3 times...and i don't even know what i did those times.

Inappropriate?I've had loads of problems with the middle and left arrows online but almost no problem offline. The online problem became painfully apparent when Pandajero came on. I think I was only getting one out of every four middle shakes to go through. It was brutal. Hopefully with time I'll figure out a new method that works for the online games.
