Friend Book release date?
Please at least give us a hint as to when Friend Book will be released. It's one of the few applications I've been waiting for ever since the iPhone 3G was released. Please!

Inappropriate?Sorry dude, any date I picked would be a complete fabrication.

That's okay. At least I'd have a date to look forward to. :) -
Inappropriate?I have had that question from the start. I just wish I would have got to the download before it got pulled. You have to realize that most people on iPhone's have a gameing mind set. Why else would there be games over 90% of the App's Store. I am a bit to old for games. But I would like to have a nice Phone Book.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I have friendbook already, I just want the handshake feature to work goddamnit! I also wouldn't mind a decrease in choppiness when scrolling contacts.
I’m following Mike Lee... Probably to the iPhone division of Delicious Monster.

Inappropriate? The last post to this topic was two months ago. No updates and FriendBook is not on the App Store.
What was wrong with FriendBook in the first place? I never tried to use the handshake feature, but I've heard it didn't work very well. The app itself is ok for its other features, so why remove it altogether instead of just removing handshake and releasing it again with the feature disabled until the problems could be worked out?
Will FriendBook be updated, or should the existing users look to purchase another similar app (I think there are other free ones as well) instead? I like the app, but "dead" apps have to be removed and replaced with apps that are getting updated semi-regularly. Eventually, an update to the firmware down the road will break the dead apps anyway, so it's best not to get too attached to them or their features and to put support behind those apps that will be updated, so that their devs will continue development.
This post is no attack on Tapulous. If FriendBook is dead, that's ok. If you are focused on Twinkle and Tap Tap Revenge and don't have time or resources for FriendBook, that might actually be a good thing. I'd just like an update is all.
Thanks! :)

Inappropriate?FriendBook is in the App Store!! Although it costs a dollar, which I wasn't expecting....
I’m excited!!!
-
Inappropriate?A dollar? Huh? I got it for free when it first came out, and I still have it - why should I have to pay a dollar for this update, which I waited so long for? I'm unimpressed by the screenshots - the icon is pitiful in comparison to the old one, and is horribly lopsided. The face dialer looks to have been demolished. It was stunning in the first version, absolutely gorgeous, as was the handshake feature!
Why are all the nice graphics gone? Did you lose your star designer or something? Something weird is going on here - first TTR gets a depressing face lift, and now FriendBook has become a monstrosity. What the heck is going on? When that guy left, did he take his pretty designs with him?
I think I'll keep my broken 1.0 version - and I advise people not to pay $1 for something so long delayed and so highly expected that was originally promised for free. To see it in the form that those screenshots look like is just depressing. -
Inappropriate?I agree with Jason Rappaport, this version of FriendBook is worst compared with version 1.0. And the reason why Tapulous ask 1 dollar I didn't understand. This should be free, special editions must be paid.

Inappropriate?I too have the original version, i think that the fact they're charging us PATIENT early adopters is atrocious.
I’m a customer Tapulous is desperately trying to lose.
