How do I change wrong e-mai address

When I enter my e-mail adress I entered ".com" instead of ".net" How do I change this?? If I put n e-mail address and submit it will not send e-mail to the new e-mail that I put. If I hit send to the old e-mail. well it does not come to my inbox.
