Is the contest legal?
Is the contest legal for all ages and in all jurisdictions? The rules are quite bare bones and don't seem to be in compliance with even all US state regulations....

Inappropriate?Does the contest have to be legal? Its only a game and it's not like Tapulous are giving away peoples address and there phone number. The prize for winning is being at the top of the songs leaderboard.

Yes, it does have to be legal as there are prizes with monetary value such as iTunes gift certificates and concert tickets. See http://www.howstuffworks.com/question.... -
Tapulous probably have some rules and regulations, ask Ed or check on the Tapulous website (Do you live on Rhode Island Then?). Lots of things do have Rules and Tapulous is getting pretty big so it might land itself in bigger trouble than a $150 filing fine but Tapulous is not holding the competition in Rhode Island is it? -
I assume it's a Global contest, just shove a '*' and a condition that requires entry to be legal in your country/state/county and for you to be 16 or 17 or 18 or whatever and it will all be fine and dandy, probably. Or just shift the Tapulous HQ and bank account to a Tax haven :D -
I was only able to find very basic rules & regulations with no mention of legal age or jurisdictions. I'm not in Rhode Island, although I do visit there often! -
Inappropriate?Yes they're legal. For official rules see: http://tapulous.com/contests/
