The nearby function isn't working on iPod Touch. Please fix this problem or let us manually set us location.

Inappropriate?Is it showing you the wrong location? Also, is it the same location as in the Maps app?
If it's the same location as in maps - it may have to do with skyhook, jared wrote up a fix -

Apparently it can take a little while to work after you register it...I'm not sure what to expect.

Fannan mentioned he had to register a local hotspot for his location to work. It took a while to register, but now it locates him right away.
