Privacy & Protecting Updates on 'Nearby' Timeline
I elected to protect my updates on the Twitter network but after a day of using Twinkle (which, I adore by the way) I find that if 'Broadcast Location' is on, ALL my tweets appear on the 'public' Nearby timeline.
I realise that this is in effect, a different network to Twitter - but this is something I only found by searching support.
Are there plans afoot to honour the 'Twitter' privacy? (or just simply, to give the option for privacy?)
I love the location awareness but only want people I've allowed to follow me, to see any updates (and my location).
Last response I saw was 'we're looking at it', but this was 4 months ago..
Fingers crossed - I'd hate to have to leave Twinkle!

Inappropriate?Right, currently all the public broadcasts go into the nearby timeline. Direct messages on the other hand do not go into the public timeline. I'll make sure to bring this issue up again. Thanks.
I’m excited about new features
