Rank List Improvements
Tap Tap Revenge (all versions), particularly TTR2, would be WAY better if on the high scores list it showed your rank out of the total number of players in the world, and also your overall percentage rank.

As for the number of players... that can probably be found elsewhere.

Yea I know it shows the rank on the bottom. For example, I scored 26 out of the Top 100, but I would like to know what percentile I am in (#26/Total Number of Players in World) -
Inappropriate?Yeah... well to me that seems not useful, simply because not everybody who has downloaded really plays much, and not everybody who plays would have played that song, and not everybody who plays that song has submitted it...
Out of the number of players who have submitted a score for that song I could see being useful though :)2 Comments Add a comment

yeah I think that was what rdmarino was driving at.
It is all fair and well telling your friend you are 26th on the leaderboard, but if they think the leaderboard could be only 30 names long it's no longe as impressive as it being 300,000 long. -
That's really what I was aiming for (a leaderboard out of the number of players who have actually played and submitted a score for that particular song on whatever level it was played on).

Inappropriate?I would like an in-depth online rank per song, so that I can browse and see the sort of scores I need to be in the top 100. And perhaps, like already as implemented with the challenge mode, a 'challenge this score' where not unlike a Ghost mode in racing games you can challenge any top 100 or top 1000 score.
Of course that would require lots more code and server space but I reckon it could be done. Who knows what TTR3 will bring :P.
