Inappropriate?Right now public replies go in the Home tab. We've had many requests for a separate Replies tab and we're looking into it.

Inappropriate?maybe a cool solution, instead of adding a new tab, would be to add a toggle button at the top bar (next to the 'reply' and 'new twitt' buttons) that toggles between looking at the entire home stream and looking just at replies...
another thing to consider is the new-message-count at the bottom and how to reflect 'new replies' with it. i don't know if the SDK allows tinkering with the red number shown over the buttons, but if you can it could be cool to have a green counter under the red one showing the amount of new replies. -
Toggle button seems like a solid solution. Minimal changes to the user interface and it won't bloat the bar/tab along the bottom of the screen. -
Inappropriate? With the colour coding of different message types I don't think I need this feature, but I'd certainly like to see it and decide after that.

Inappropriate?it will make a huge difference,
what if your reply/twitt ration is low, so your replies are burried deep and far away between the twitts, you have a hard manual time to find them.
the idea is that replies are important and so should be surfaced, not left out like the rest of the twitts. replies encourage discussion and are an important time of twitter. twitter doesn't have a 'replies' tab for nothing.

this is one of the best points

Inappropriate?I agree, and as I said we're looking into it. It's not a 1.1 feature (we're polishing up 1.1 before submitting it to Apple), but some time in the future... :)

Inappropriate?chris can you share with what's interesting in 1.1 ?
any improvement in the speed of the home screen UI? scrolling is slow there. -
Inappropriate?I don't see the point in a replies tab... I have never used it in any client that I have ever used.
I’m wondering why so many people would like a replies tab...
