Revised Track(s) section in Browse!
This idea really needs to be implemented!
So today I borrow my friends iPod and I see that he has an old version of Sugar Goin down with less taps and he didn't know that it was revised with a funner/harder chart.
Then around yesterday, I redownloaded TTR3 and found out that the Fireflies track was updated with a more vibrant theme. Which came to me that a majority of iPhone users who don't go to this site might not get a clue that some tracks may have been revised.
Which is why I think the Tap Tap Store needs a "Revised Tracks" section.
There ya have it, straight and to the point!

The best point from the company

I like the idea! What if it was even more in your face? Like, when you play the track, it checks on the server and says -- "There's an updated theme/track for this! Tap here to get it now..."
Is that too obtrusive/annoying?

this is one of the best points

No, that's actually a pretty good idea! Just like on battle, before the song starts, you can add that pop-up. And then you can tap the "update" button if you want or "cancel" if you don't. -
No, that's even better ed! That way users can be more in touch and updated on if anything is new and jump right in with no hustle :)
@DrMonkey, great idea, it should be like that! -
Actually, I've got an even better idea!
You know how if there's an update to one of your apps, there's a little red circle with a number on the top right depending on how many apps have updates? Well, TTR3 could be like that, if there's an update to a track, the little number appears on the top and when you open TTR3, a pop-up appears saying that there is an update to whatever track or track pack.
Or maybe even send push notifications?
And also, thanks BillyMan, I never knew the Fireflies theme got updated! :D -
That's prefect Ed! Likely, if you are playing the track, you like the track, and would like a BETTER track if that is possible ;) -
I like that! -
I would love that! -
awesome. -
Inappropriate?i just recognized that the fall out boy tracks were revised because of this thread :D
thx
what other tracks have been revised? -
Those are the only ones I know about, however perhaps the No Doubt tracks have been updated, since they were in the "Recently Added" section of the store last week even though they were in the game at release. However, when I re-downloaded one of the songs (don't remember which one) that I knew had a slowdown bug at the end I thought they might have fixed, it was still there in the "new" version, so maybe they weren't revised at all. Why they would be in the "Recently Added" section I don't know though. -
The theme was updated on No Doubt, the tap-tracks are the same though. -
Inappropriate?I hope ur idea is on the 3.1 to-do list ed ;)
