Judging by the description, I always thought it gave you a power up or upgrade during wi-fi battles like extra weapons or something but I don't really know...

It's SUPPOSED to make weapons hit at ppl behind u and in front of u (I think), but lots of ppl are complaining that the weapons hit u instead.

Personally I think they're just a ton of garbage. What I'd like them to do is make the game a bit more strategic, like, Guitars should give you more coins when you play and amps should double coins again?

For those of you wondering: I lost my employee badge because I was having problems logging in here for a while, so I had GS reset my account, which deleted my profile picture, and took away my employee status

I guess the guitar is just there for symbolism

It could represent your pro-ness in Tap Tap as well as make your avatar look more skilled and flashy

It grants the user E-peen + 12 and infinite epic pimp status.
No wait... mine just weighs hundreds of pounds and sounds terrible...though it is made of solid gold.
Honestly, I haven't noticed a change, so I assume it does what it says by extending range of attacks beyond the nearest players. And making me look badass when I win online.
Still looking for that fifth weapon award...

I got the FORCE guitar, and it's suposed to make weapons get bigger, and badder, and more devastating. Don't know if this is working.

Yea I got tons of those multi-flashes and bombs, one flash hords lasted 8 seconds long. That would be 8 seconds of a plain white screen with you sitting their like a helpless trick. That must've been 3 flash weapon x a Force Supernova. It totally got me, so we know it is effective alright.

I don't think it's working the way it's supposed to. The guitar I have states it will blast the leader and last place tapper with much more power than with no guitar (which blast the person next to you). I have used it several times as the leader only to see the 2nd place tapper pass me by without me missing a tap. You tell me how that works (and please to throw me the "accuracy" info, I'm aware of this and it's not the issue). I also notice that if your the leader, and there is no one with a guitar on the song but you, how is it that you get bombarded by several weapons, one after the other, if the weapons are only supposed to reach the person next to you. So if your the leader, only one person should be able to throw a weapon at you (2nd place) yet I often see 3 or 4 different weapons coming at me. I know people can save their weapons to use later but this has happened immediately after each star run.

Many times the weapons will go to a random person.... I don't know the stats really tho <_><

Hi all, so looking at the descriptions of the 400,000 coin guitars:

RED (MAGNET) - Attracts special sequences that provide you with weapons
GREEN (FLARE) - Gives out the 'better' weapons (whatever they are) from the sequences (no new ones though)
YELLOW (RANKER) - More range to your weapons
BLUE (FORCE) - Weapons are bigger, badder, and more devastating

So im unsure which would be best, does anyone have any thoughts?

most people i see online (myself included) have purchased the blue guitars for the sheer firepower.. it lenghtens the number/duration of the weapons

the yellow guitar is kinda useless if you're leading the pack...

users of the red guitar have yet to rave with it publicly, but if you're able to tap decently, you wouldn't need any extra help to "attract" the special tappers..

and IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN the green guitar actually increases THE ODDS of getting more powerful weapons. However, since the weapons "strength"/"power" ranking is subjective, you might not get your weapon of choice. (Not that it matters, because you don't get to see it in action anyway!)
