Saw this the other day during online play. Maybe just related to all the online play server issues lately? Have a screenshot if anyone is interested but can't post here because Add an image returns "TypeError: 'responseText' is null or not an object."

Inappropriate? What?!? Where do you see this?
-
At the top, under the Downloading bar while waiting to start a game in online play. Actually saw it happen a few more times tonite. -
Seems to happen if you join an online room at about the same time a song is starting.
Happened to me a bunch of times today. It will even put TTR in an almost-infinite loop telling you the song didn't download in time. You can only break out by terminating TTR (Home button) or quickly pressing the Home icon in TTR in-between the pop-up messages (not easy to do). -
Inappropriate?I got that a few months ago, and a bout an hour ago. Both times it said that there was an error with the Internet connection. And it was either very slow, or not working at all. And it kept popping up until I tapped the home icon fast enough or forced quit. I think it's a general error notifiaction that pops up when you try to do things a little too fast for the program to respond. I tried to hop into a game right as it was about to start and that's when I first saw it. That's just my guess on what it is. Hope that what's wrong! :)
I’m unsure

There really isn't anything "a little too fast for the program to respond." It's a bug, that's really all there is to it.
You're right that it only seems to happen if you try to jump into a game that is just starting. Sort of odd that I never saw it until the other day & have now seen it 4-5 times. -
I completely agree with it being a bug [and a nasty one at that]. And I haven't gotten it since yesterday, but it was the games that had "00:00" time on them. In between that quick second and the "playing now" I tried to hop in. XD For now, I just try to avoid those situations because the bug IS annoying and hopefullly it will be fixed soon. :x I think it was supposed to be the original message that pops up saying "track did not load on time" but I specifically remember already looking at the song in that room, seeing that I had it, randomly getting booted out(which is another huge problem in itself) and then quickly returning and getting the screen. I think that due to the fact that I re-entered with that timing and had the song, the bug appeared. Because technically there's a small process that the game goes through tocheck what song it is, if you have it, how much time you have to load etc. But that was changing because the song started and we got caught in between all that mess, forcing the error screen to pop up. XD you were prolly slightly off on the timing before so there was no problem. -
Oh, I should also mention that the number changes. Maybe TTR is reading some memory (via pointer) that has been released back to the OS before it should be. If that value is used elsewhere, it could mess up who-knows-what. Even worse, hopefully that memory is only being read & not written!
