Tap Tap 2.0 suggestions
Hi Tapulous i like the idea of having a new 2.0 engine for ttr so i have a few suggestions at launch.
1. Downloadable background/effects
After seeing Tap Tap Dance and the unique backgrounds for most of the songs, I thought it'll be a good idea to have a "Downloadable Wallpaper/background" And you should release a new background every week (Possibly thur. to coinside with Tap tap thursday. I'm not saying that you should have it like tap tap revolution with Guitar hero 3 and user generated backgrounds, unless you want.
2. Tap Tap idol!!!!!!!!!
American idol will be back in early 2009 and so will the 2.0 update, so it would be cool if you had another Tap Tap idol with all kinds of artists, AT LAUNCH which would make the 2.0 update even more special.
3. Super Responsive and stable

4. Achievements
I liked how you locked medium, hard, and extreme. But it would be even cooler if you had a career mode which has you get money after a song and a quickplay mode.
5. Ability to play songs on your ipod on tap tap revenge
I know apple forbids this but maybe they changed there mind after all this is the numbuh 1 free game so they might take away some restrictions on this app.....maybe.
Other than everything here, you guys did an awesome job on tap tap dance and i can't wait for tap tap revenge II. btw: These are merely suggestions, its up to you if you choose to follow them. I know you guys are probably doing most of this stuff already.

Inappropriate?yeah!! Landscape mode could add a few extra strings to make it like guitar hero. And Custom taps would be good instead of the circles.
I’m hoping these ideas become reality.

1. I prefer the uniform background, I'd use up too much space on my iPod Touch if there were a new one very week. Also, they'd have to have graphic designers working all night long to accomplish one a week.
2. Not a bad idea, I'd like to see some indie artists get chosen for this; people who not everyone know about.
3. Completely agree with this. Although as it's been said by a Tapulous Rep in another post, TTR pushes the device to the limits. Downgrading the graphics has been suggested to allow for a more responsive app.
4. I agree, but not with money. How about achievements like NgMoco's games have (look at MazeFinger or Rolando)
5. Yeah, but for those of us who don't buy their music from the iTunes store, sometimes the tracks don't match up. Also, many of the tracks were just people screwing around in Tap Tap Revolution.

Inappropriate?awesome, but, how about a carreer mode where you make money (in game) and if you want to, buy backgrounds and songs too! that would be cool.

Inappropriate?you know, mitchell, TTR2 was actually released today. Achievements are part of it, but not with money, just checkmarks.
