Tap Tap + Metallica + Boss Track + Extreme = Dropped taps
It is pretty self explanatory. I have found my ipod to drop tons of simultaneous taps in all difficulties but the final boss track (master of puppets) just is the worst. You could say that its human error but sometimes it drops in the really easy bits and its just obvious.
I think it might also be that i'm moving off the tap radius. So just as a question, did they change the tap radius from a circle to a rectangle?, because if they didn't than the tap radius would have to be very small.
Just to tag along and I can't be any simpler than this....
MOVE THE 16x UP ON LANDSCAPE!!! IT IS SO CLOSE ITS ALMOST OVERLAPPING THE TAP ZONE FOR THE FAR RIGHT!!!! I honestly don't care if the 16x has to be smaller then. It just has to be moved and dropped taps fixed. Just to make everyone clear, the taps mainly occur with 2 simultaneous notes in 2 lanes.

Inappropriate?It is human error but it's not necessarily your fault. What's happening is your fingers are too big, and the overlapping tap target code is confused and tripping out because of it. It is a problem that is acknowledged, but it will be fixed and improved in an update which will be coming. I have many solutions planned to fix this.
For now, just try and tap with the very tips your fingers/thumbs.1 Comment

Yeh, Im aware that it is the overlapping targets but it is still just as bad as dropped taps because its still a bug in the game, sorta.... -

I'm going to try and get a hold of a video camera at some point this weekend to illustrate. There's been some discussion that 5-lane mode is "buggy," "unplayable," and "impossible" but I assure you it's not. Surely, some fixes can be made in order to make it even better, but there's no reason to make any drastic changes.

Inappropriate?I agree with DXChain. Actually, I only play with DXGrip now. Although I have to change positions regularly, it doesn't matter, because it drops less taps and some split-like finger-settings are much easier with that grip. Excuse me for my English :P.

Inappropriate?I have the problem too. And it has worsened since the last iPhone software upgarde. The problem was only on certain Hard songs (NIN) and Extreme, now I am getting it in all levels. Mostly when there are 2 simultaneous notes in 2 lanes as described already. And it does this with the trailers too.
Arrows are now sticking on the target as well and then show as miss.
I have already gone through support already and covered the suggestions. While I am not inclined to change all my phone setting because one app can't handle it, I did at least try all, and there is no difference.
There is an issue and it needs to be fixed.
PS- I do NOT have fat fingers by any means... !
