Tapulous Dollars Donations Idea (Must Read!)

Dear Tapulous and others,

Although I am not sure about the rules and regulations of Apple I had this idea that I thought would be great suggestion!

What if when we buy any Tapulous app we have an option...

We can either pay the regular price of $4.99 (or For TTR2, and other editions that are free $0.00) or we can pay an extra .99¢ on either -or both- and have it donated to an organization.

What if Tapulous decided to take that extra dollar give the buyer something to thank them (maybe some band can donate a collection special for them for use in TTR2 and 3? I am sure bands would do that!!) and then the .99¢ gets donated somewhere that TTR users vote on.

Now even if only say 100 people did this for every release it still would be 100 dollars that could be donated... Now at the moment if this was done I think Tapulous would be the first group to do this, and from there I think it could really start something in the App store, and really end up donating Hundreds if not thousands or even more!

.99¢ isn't much but when many people do it it could make a huge difference in the world.

So just my thought, would love some feedback especially from Ed and other employees. Now in the case that the App Store doesn't allow uploading 2 applications just for a different price then I am not sure what would happen, but it is possible that Tapulous could get them to change their minds... or if it is actually allowed, I think it would be worth it 110%!!!

Also another way around it is to release another app that basically just gives the songs the band would donate for .99¢ allow them to be imported into TTR2 and TTR3 and just charge
.99¢ then have it donated. So that's always a possibility.
