Inappropriate? Thanks for the report. We've submitted a fix for this, currently it works if your location is set to US.
-
When will we see a new version of Tweetsville at the App Store that fixes this? -
It crashes at startup on an iPod Touch 2G too. Firmware 2.1. -
I bought Tweetsville in good faith for my iPhone 2g. It always crashes and has never functioned. I want a refund. -
And when will the update actually be released? It is "next week" already. -
Inappropriate?Should be up next week.
-
Inappropriate?I seriously hope this'll be fixed. The price is trivial, but the principle of the case; Namely you shouldn't pay for broken goods, remains.
I've heard good things about this app, so please do fix this bug so that I can actually use the app I bought.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Wow, just got the update from the App Store and I have to say that Tweetsville blows me away. My problem is trying to find a Twitter client for my Mac that is as good as Tweetsville!!
I’m excited
-
I agree, its pretty sweet! -

Thanks for the report martin! -
My 2.1 OS 3G, v. 1.1, also crashes, every time, without allowing Tweetsville to launch. -

Inappropriate?Tweetsville will not function and crashes on my iPhone 2G. How do I get a refund?
I’m not happy with Tweetsville.
-
Inappropriate?Oh, the mysteries of the iPhone. Tweetsville is just humming along on my 2G iPhone. I love it.
-
do you have the newest tweetsville? also try totally removing it from your phone... i understand it is a pain.. but such is the life of owning an iphone. -
newest tweetsville, tried removing and installing again several times, clearing the cache, everything... :S
as soon as i start going down the timeline, it crashes.
sometimes i can get to this point, usually after a reboot, most time it just crashes on launch.
currently it's the only one that does that. none of the other apps, twitter client or not, has this behavior. -
Err.. very frustrating for you I'm sure. Hopefully we can identify what is going on, we've got a few crash reports to check out. -
My guess is that it is something to do with certain foreign characters -
i plead guilty on that...
but none of the other twitter apps installed in the same iphone (twittelator pro, twitterfon, twinkle and twitterrific) at the moment crash...
(please fix it... it looks so sweet...) -
Inappropriate?crashville. first gen iphone w/ 2.1. tweetsville 1.1. my first paid app. teaches me to ever pay for an app.
-
what are the steps to reproduce the crash? is your phone jailbroken? -
i purchased the app, sync'd to install it to my iphone, ran tweetsville (successfully), was able to setup and use several times, then subsequent tweetsville startups will crash upon startup. the only way for it to startup successfully is to remove it and re-install but that requires syncing and setting it all up again.
yes, its jailbroken, though no such consistence with crashing with any other apps. -
Inappropriate?I just want a refund and not mess with the company trying to find a fix for a crappy product that does not function on my iPhone 2G.
-
i would be happy with a refund as well. its an awesome app when it works but it only works a few times after reinstalling it.
ive tried contact apple directly for a refund: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/s... -
Unfortunately that is not possible, we are doing what we can to reproduce and fix these issues for future releases.
