Twinkle network having trouble?
Is Twinkle down? It just says "Attempting to locate you" forever. Google Maps has no problem locating me at all. Twinkle just sits there.. doing something... ?

Inappropriate?My friend just said "Twinkle sucks" (she's trying it out for the first time).. guessing because she's having problems too. And I tried to view my identity.. a "Loading..." box comes up, sits there forever. -

Chris on the iPhone is there going to be an option to enter our twitter profile info? i signed up on this website and linked it to twitter and filled out info on the phone but i dont see a spot to insert the twitter info. any ideas?

Inappropriate?By the way, Chris.. not sure what your hosting solution is, but if you're looking for something that could handle tons of traffic, check out fluidhosting.com. I don't work for them, I'm just a long time customer. They rock the pants off of any other host.. they'll do VPS or colocation, whatever you need for a reliable server.

Check out Fluid's VPS pricing.. looks like it beats MT. MT has 512MB RAM, 40GB HD, 1.5TB xfer for $150/mo. Fluid offers 1GB RAM, 50GB HD, 750GB xfer for $75/mo. I checked because I'm interested in VPS some time when I get my project launched...

Inappropriate?I think I'm going to give up on Twinkle right now and switch back to Twitteriffic. I can accept the servers being down for a little bit, but this is crazy. I'm missing all my friends tweets because Twinkle can't pull them. I hope you guys get everything in order soon so I can come back.

Feature request: Might it be possible to have Twinkle disable the location awareness if it can't reach your servers? (With user alert of this limitation)
This way; We still get to use the best Twitter client out there, and you guys still look good, while you're fixing what's under the hood.

It's not just location -- everything you post to Twinkle goes through our servers. The server then cross-posts to Twitter *if* you have a Twitter account set up in Twinkle. The Twinkle software itself doesn't talk to Twitter.
