Twinkle won't update main feed, lost direct messages, but nearby works OK
Twinkle won't update the main feed. I know Twitter isn't overloaded because I'm currently stuck using PocketTweets or Twitter.com, and they're working OK. Direct messages aren't working either. I apparently only have 5 (I *do* have more, I know this for a fact), and they're not in any order or anything. Nearby messages are working A-OK, though, which is the odd thing. I heard about the server outage, but it seems odd to me that nearby works fine, but neither of the other two categories are working.

Inappropriate?same thing on my end. Twitter is always off when I go into settings. I was about to remove twinkle and re-install it as a last ditch effort even though it doesn't make sense.

Inappropriate?Same here--suddenly over the weekend Twinkle stopped updating with Twitter. Checked profile settings, and Twitter had been turned off. I didn't change my profile. What gives?

Inappropriate?Seeing as near-by works fine, this indicates that the problem lies in the connection with twitter. Near-by works only over the Tapulous servers, not even requiring a twitter account (something that is changing in the next update to Twinkle, I am told).
Check that you have no made a typological error when entering your twitter credentials, and used your user name, not email address.
if that is all correct, and you still are not getting the relevant updates, check that twitter is switched on. If it is switched off, it will only show updates from people you follow who use Twinkle (only the individual tweets from Twinkle will show, not their entire stream), and near-by.
Failing this, try deleting and reinstalling Twinkle, as it appears to have corrected the problem for some users.
If none of what I have said works, I'd wait for a Tapulous representative to see this thread and hopefully make a contribution.

Inappropriate?Hi there. Sorry about the confusion. We had several issues over the weekend that we hopefully resolved. We should have hopefully corrected the issue as of early Monday morning.
If you are still running into issues with Twitter not loading tweets or messages, let us know. (And make sure you have Twitter enabled in the profile settings).

Inappropriate?I really want Twinkle to work, but it hasn't for me since my upgrade to 3G. I have deleted the app and re-downloaded it. I have removed and re-added my tapulous acct. Any tweet from twinkle never makes it to twitter. Nearby is ok though. And my wife has no issues with her twinkle. Everytime I investigated the forums, I saw that they were having server issues. Thought that was it, but no deal now. Help?
