What the heck is a "Tap Tap Revenge"?
I was browsing the internet and I saw a review of TTR1 and it said that TTR is a game simulating a guitar. That is false ttr simulates vocals, guitar, bass, drums, etc; But still just what is a "TTR"?
TTRevolution had a blank background and star tappers. TTR 1.5 had a dark, shiny enhancement over TTR Classic but there were tiny stars in the background.
TTR2 went to the future with a shining galaxy, thousands of stars in the background, but oddly enough it had black tappers in revenge mode (Black holes maybe). TTR 2.5 has TTR 1 lines in normal mode and TTR 1.5 lines in Revenge mode with shiny tappers.
With history behind, What is a Tap Tap Revenge? A space shuttle? A guitar? A ukelele? A Galaxy? Hmm >_> Twinkle might have something to do with this as well *Don't say it's an app, no need to point out the obvious*

Inappropriate?The game itself was inspired by Dance Dance Revolution. Hence - Tap Tap Revolution..the layout was obviously inspired by Guitar Hero..the stars in the background and the general theme of "Space" seems to be something that is in the designer's head. Perhaps he likes space? Or stars?1 Comment

You have a good point Krohn7, I actually kind of forgot that TTR was inspired by DDR. The themes in each of the games change, Disco party in dance, Pinball in DMB, Billboards in Lady Gaga. If a metallica version comes out then the theme would be a concert stage :). -

Inappropriate?Tap Tap Revenge .. kind of means that you " Tap Tap " on the screen and when you dont " Tap Tap " it right .. you kind of want revenge on the game and you throw the iPod/iPhone at a wall or the floor.

Inappropriate?The only Revenge I know is TTR1.7, it keeps on fucking my score up. I think he is mad, I pwned him and now he tries to pwn me :(. -
Inappropriate?Believe it or not, Tap Tap is a top secret place built somewhere near Area 35. It so top secret noone has ever heard about it or seen it, except Nate -- that's how he came up with it...
When they finally went to test it, somebody sabotaged the experiment and it was destroyed. Luckily, some random guy made a duplicate in Japan and it worked.
