Where does Twinkle's "nearby" data come from?
Does "Nearby" in Twinkle aggregate messages from the Tapulous network only (i.e., Twinkle users), or does it pull in Twitter messages that are tagged with their locations, too?
I suspect the former, but I'm just interested in hearing the official response.

Inappropriate?Twitter messages can't be geotagged, so Twinkle's nearby messages are only from the Tapulous network.

Inappropriate? It may be a stupid idea but couldn't you use the location specified in the user data? Sure, in a larger city you'll probably end up with a gazillion nearby tweets. But maybe you could have more than one limit on the nearby radius, one for the Tapulous network and one for Twitter.
I’m thankful
