Wrong Location
it constantly says I'm in the wrong location. It uses the same incorrect one though.

Inappropriate?I definitely get this. It's related to the WiFi positioning, I think, but it seems to be intermittent. I've written a blog post with screengrabs etc showing the problem: http://www.fscked.co.uk/index.php/200...

Inappropriate?Further to the above, I had this happen to me again today, running Twinkle v1.1 and iPhone OS v2.0.1. Once again Twinkle thought I was in Chepstow. I immediately loaded Maps, which this time correctly showed my location as Cardiff, and returned straight away to Twinkle, which now had the correct location. So neither of these updates have solved the problem.

Inappropriate?I've had the same problem for a while. Running 2.0.1 and 1.1, and every time I get off a plane and tweet, and while I'm able to get "nearby" tweets properly after hitting refresh, my location for posting new tweets says it's the old location. However, closing Twinkle and opening it up again (hitting the home button and tapping the Twinkle icon) goes right back to the "new tweet" window, and forces it to update the Location. So I guess that's the workaround for now! :(

Inappropriate?I've noticed this at times too -- does re-locating yourself in maps fix it for everyone? And, anyone notice this on an iPod Touch?
-
Inappropriate?Re-locating in Maps fix my location -- IN MAPS. However, it does not work with Twinkle.

Thanks. Did it work before 2.1? -
Inappropriate?Nope - for most part. However, twinkle does work on SOME locations.

Inappropriate? Thanks Rom. That feature was tweaked in the upcoming release. We'll look for this bug after the update.

Inappropriate? Please read this! This will hopefully solve your problem.

And next time search for your problem most likely other people have the same problem.
I’m mad that people can't search something.!

This does not work ALL THE TIME!
With the iPhone 3G, you should get a pretty accurate reading of your location as compared with the 2G, which uses the Skyhook network (I have my access point registered already). In fact, even with the Skyhook network, Twinkle reports that I am in the 4000m radius instead of 150-200m of Skyhook's accuracy.
I’m mad that people think that others DO NOT search before posting!

Inappropriate?it doesn't work after a week It takes a couple month b/c it said I was in Ohio and really I'm in Kansas city and now it says I'm in KC not Ohio. But yeah 3G should work but if your connected to a wi-fi network that may be why.
