Count me as another vote for end-user documentation -- probably I'm missing something easy that I could solve for myself if there were a manual... :-)
I've set up a simple workflow (titled "Mail decoder to Mailer") that should accept an incoming message through the Mail Decoder and pipe its subject line to the Mailer. The "To" address for the Mailer is supplied by a Text Input widget. My goal is to forward email to my mobile phone, stripping the body and keeping just the subject line.
When I try it, the only result is a "nothing happened/not completed" message in my Tarpipe activity log.
Is there something I'm failing to understand about how the Mail Decoder and Mailer should work? Or is there a bug of some kind?
Thanks! I'm a big admirer of Tarpipe and hope I can figure out how to make this work.
Any chance you can make some sort of tie in with Google Calendar? Be great to be able to send notes to Evernote and put a reminder in Google Calendar at the same time
i've test my different email adress in relation with my plaxo account and i've check my credential on the plaxo website (it's work) but i've always an error "Invalid username or password."
On the accounts page, what do I need to enter as credentails for Jaiku? I'm putting my Jaiku username in the first box. In the second box I've tried my Jaiku password, and both the key and the secret from a Jaiku API key I generated. Everything I've tried gives me "Invalid username or personal key" - how do I get a personal key fro Jaiku?
With the new iphone OS 3.0 I can send multiple pictures (up to 5) in attachment via email. I'd like to publish the first picture in the list to single-photo-only web-apps (like twitpic), but i'd like to publish the whole batch to multiple-photo web-apps (like facebook, flickr, photobucket...). I hope you can make this one work out. It's a tough problem to crack, I believe.
I signed up with the wrong OpenID .. can't change that in my settings .. but I'm realizing that tarpipe's not working for me - how do I delete my account?
Has tarpipe considered integrating with blippr (www.blippr.com)? The service is similar to twitter, but their niche is (movie/software/book) reviews in 160 characters or less. I think this would be a good fit.
Each time a load a photo into Facebook I have to go and approve the photo. This never happened before but know I can not just post a photo. this makes the Facebook photo portion almost useless.
Please make it easier for me to send information to a Yahoo! Pipe for processing before continuing with the workflow. At the moment, the REST module is cool, but the JSON format doesn't get handled by Pipes well.
As workflows get more complex, it also gets more difficult to figure out where they fail (when they fail).
For example: I've been getting fails on this workflow id=097525EEE8DF377AE7A1D785BF71E632 but the activity page does not provide a lot of useful information.
Since the service is in beta, I don't think the users would mind have more debug output (even if less polished).
Now that Twitter has implemented OAuth, it would be much, much better if you guys implemented Twitter OAuth support in tarpipe -- it's much more secure than you guys being a repository for people's Twitter usernames and passwords.
How do I get a consumer key & secret to try our the 2.0 API? I emailed dev@ tarpipe.com (as the 2.0 API documentation says) about 10 days ago and have heard nothing back - is this still the mechanism?
I created a simple workflow to link Evernote with Toodledo using Tarpipe.
Toodledo has the capability to create tasks via email, similar to how Tarpipe starts a workflow with email. The blocked out text in the image is just my Toodledo secret email address. The result is a new task in Toodledo, which has a link to the associated Evernote note. It works great, but it would be better if I could include attachments other than images. I would especially like to include pdf and wav attachments.
