There are two ways of delivering this feature:
1- Creating a "String" connector that acts like a form input;
2- Changing the UI so that connectors accept values from other connectors and also from form input.
We're trying both approaches now and will come up with a solution soon. -
Inappropriate?I would really like to have this module added too!
For example, I'd like to be able to add arbitrary text strings to titles, tags etc when posting to Flickr, Pownce or Twitter.

Inappropriate?This functionality would allow users to create all sorts of more interesting workflows that would allow them to send things to webapps that don't currently have a connector in Tarpipe. For instance, there are numerous mashups that utilise Twitter to send items to various webapps, but they often require a specific kind of syntax that would need to be added to the output somehow.
